On October 17, Queen Maxima visited BlueCity in Rotterdam, where entrepreneurs and pioneers work on projects that contribute to a society without waste. BlueCity is a platform of circular economy, and it is located in former Center Parcs site Tropicana, Rotterdam.

The building houses 55 entrepreneurs who exchange knowledge about sustainability and circularity, and provide each other with goods flows. A collective of small businesses operates within a zero waste circular economy, influenced by the Blue Economy.

  1. Ich glaube, Königin Maxima ist eine der ganz wenigen, der beige von Kopf bis Fuß ausgezeichnet steht.

  3. Máxima looks good. I like this style on her and her hair is combed! While I would never wear those huge earrings my self, they look okay on her due to the lack of other adornments. I bet those things are heavy, though.

    1. You can see these earrings ( but they are Ohrclips, not earrings) on 1.Dibs. One earclip has 29 gramm and is quite big, 5 cm. anna e.

  4. I like this outfit on Maxima very much. Great long legs, the pants fit well. I prefer to see Maxima in these muted, neutral colours. She has enough personality to pull these off. She does not always need the over the top flamboyant style. (Beth)

  7. Great outfit--toned down make-up and jewelry. I wish she had added a pop of color with her shoes and/or purse--things are bit too monochromatic with her outfit, accessories, and her hair color. But--this is a great look for her.

    1. No no, Janet. As Sabsi mentioned, queen Maxima wears this style with grace. Another colour would ruin it!

  9. Belle combinaison que j'aurais bien vue dans une couleur encore plus automnale ; je serais curieuse de savoir comment se ferment ses boucles d'oreilles qui ne me paraissent pas trop légères ?!

    Q. Maxima got it right with this simple yet flattering outfit.
    Well done indeed👍

  11. Her outfit is a winner for a royal lady and fits in well with the tone and place of her visit.

I’ve been waiting to see some examples of what Maxima has bought back from her shopping in Greece after her annual summer Greek holiday of 2023.
The “Greek chic” style fits Maxima like a glove.
To date, nothing notable seems to have appeared.
It would be nice to see her wearing again the works of Greek designers such as Costarellos, Parthenis and CELIA DRAGOUNI.
Maybe she’s keeping it as a surprise.

    1. Well my oh my. I spoke too soon.
Today for her second visit to South Africa, Maxima is wearing a Greek creation by ZEUS+DIONE.
Vanity Fair said in their March 2001 edition that their designs are steeped in Greek tradition and craftsmanship.
You can see some of their work via a simple Google search.
