Queen Maxima is making a three-day visit to the Republic of Kenya from October 23 to 25 in her capacity as the UN Secretary-General’s Special Advocate for Inclusive Finance for Development. Queen Maxima arrived in Nairobi on the first day of her visit to Kenya. The Queen met with President of Kenya William Samoei Ruto, at the State House.

    Finally, a nice dress and jacket set from Maxima. Isn't it too hot for Kenya? Either way, it's elegant. Maybe beceause it isn´t Natan, but Oscar de la Renta

    Great suit dress from Oscar del la Renta for QMax--she looks sensational. This is a fun yet conservative look for Maxima--and completely perfect for the occasion and event. How elegant she looks!

      Queen Maxima is not in the role of Queen during her Kenyan visit.
      Her role in Kenya is that of business woman for The United Nations.
      So Maxima has gone back to her low maintenance, “shaggy-chic” hair style.
      The daytime weather in Nairobi is around 28° celsius and humidity level is about 50%. Shouldn’t be a problem with hairdos and hair styles. But Maxima is not showing us anything that we haven’t seen before.
      Agree with all the positive comments about her “working girl” suit.
      Waiting to see what else comes out of the cupboard for the three day visit.

      "the silly hat" Maxima wore with the yellow shirt and trousers was a present to her upon arrival - and according to information on another site she was asked to wear it for photos.The hat is special local handicraft.

    This suit looks superb. The fit is perfect, love the design. The length is good. The pearl necklace, earrings and bracelet are the perfect finishing touch. The nude colored shoes, excellent!

    I am one of those who has to check the mirror and comb my hair upon arrival anywhere, I feel justified commenting. You would think Maxima would check and run a comb through her hair. The hair can detract from some lovely outfits. Christine
