Queen Letizia of Spain, Honorary President of UNICEF Spain, attended an event held on the occasion of World Mental Health Day 2023. This year, the event was held under the motto "mental health is a universal human right".
The event was organized by the Spanish Mental Health Confederation, in collaboration with the ONCE Foundation, the Ministry of Social Rights, and Agenda 2030.
World Mental Health Day is observed on October 10 every year, with the overall objective of raising awareness of mental health issues around the world and mobilizing efforts in support of mental health.
Sandro green midi dress with scarf prints
the oval in the pattern over belly and hips is visually unattractive.
ReplyDeleteThank you for describing 'my problem' with this dress so well; I feel exactly the same
DeleteTotally agree. That downward illusion never looks good in a garment. It draws your eyes down and is too reminiscent of a sad frown.
DeleteI agree. Especially the skirt of this dress is not beautiful because it looks like the fabric is sagging. Rose
DeleteI agree, the top part would make a nice blouse but the bottom is weird./Grace
DeleteYou said it very well. It looks droopy.
DeleteOh I remember, this was the dress where I thought "No, not even Letizia can save this pathetic bankruptcy of a dress". (GM)
ReplyDeleteI've liked this dress when Q.Letizia first wore it years ago and I still like it now. It is a nice design and a clever use of the fabric pattern; she wears it very well.

I don't quite like this dress on the Queen. Perhaps she could have worn a belt.
ReplyDeleteT
I don't think a belt would help much.
DeleteThe best thing she could have done is just not to wear the dress 😣
I fear you might be right @deadeggs. Such a shame as she usually looks good in everything.

Jolis motifs jusqu'à la taille mais ceux de la jupe apportent trop de contraste !
ReplyDeleteThis is one of the very few dresses I don't like on Letizia (nor anyone).
ReplyDeleteVery nice. css
ReplyDeleteI do like the colors of this dress on HM Q Letizia, but the ways the motifs are arranged on the skirt create to my eyes an optical illusion that the fabric is worn and sagging. I don’t think the dress flatters the Queen.
ReplyDeleteAnya
Yes, that’s exactly what’s bothering me about this dress. (V.M.)
DeleteYou are correct. She needs to permanently retire this dress DIQ.
ReplyDeleteThis dress does nothing flatter the Queen. Sorry but it’s just terrible for her shape right down to the legs, most unflattering I have ever seen on her.
ReplyDeleteOh boy, the draping of the skirt pattern is not flattering. When an outfit doesn’t flatter Letizia or the model, it’s time to put that dress in the back of the closet!
ReplyDeleteRare dress that does nothing for QL nor can QL do anything for the dress. The weird waistline (or lack thereof) and hip area make me want to cry because the dress had potential until that design flaw.
ReplyDeleteJanet
How I love this dress: such a beautifull pattern, colour and design, a real classic,
ReplyDeleteMabel
This is a rare miss for me I don't like this dress.
ReplyDeleteI don't necessarily dislike this dress, but it does lovely Letizia's figure no favors. None whatsoever. Jacqueline
ReplyDeleteLooking at this “dress” again, I began to see that it looks like an apron worn by a waitress in a seafood restaurant but the waitress has forgotten to tie it up with the strings at the back.
ReplyDeleteOr maybe it’s just my anti wrinkle medication that is starting to kick in.
On the package, it says that the medication will eliminate 50% of my wrinkles so I take a double dose which, in theory, should reduce my wrinkles by 100%
Not a fan of this dress. Like the colour, but not the rest.
ReplyDeleteMir gefällt der blau-weiße Rock. Es sieht aus wie feines Porzellan.
ReplyDeleteIch hätte nur nicht schwarz dazu kombinierte. Weiß oder einen Blauton wäre schön gewesen.
