After accepting the High Patronage of The Multiple Sclerosis Luxembourg Foundation last March, Hereditary Grand Duchess Stephanie visited people suffering from multiple sclerosis (MS) cared for by the "MS-Day Center - Um Bill" in Helperknapp. The center serves as a day reception center and is managed by The Multiple Sclerosis Foundation with the support of the Ministry of Family Affairs.
During the visit, the Princess met with the multidisciplinary staff who provide physical and cognitive services as well as fun, relaxing and creative activities.

Omg...shoes and clutch bag are horrible...
ReplyDeleteI want to cut her some slack with the shoes, maybe her back hurts? But otherwise yes, the shoes are ghastly. I also don't like the fit of the dress even though the color is brilliant. But I love her hair in that style, and she is glowing.
DeleteI like very much the dress, the fit is not perfect indeed but more difficult to achieve for her than the model. I think she cannot systematically go for the Camilla style.
DeleteThe shoes are ??, I imagine they must be linked to some sort of difficulty (aching feet or walking conditions). I would like to point out how nice black boots would have been nice with the dress, as shown by the model. For me dress + boots are very often great.
She looks fabulous in this shade of red. Her hair looks wonderful really suits her that color, she was simply radiant on this visit.
ReplyDeleteThey can and most likely are very comfortable, but the shoes totally spoil the overall look and distract from a very nice dress
ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous coatdress! Stephanie looks radiant…I hope to see her in this dress during the Christmas season, with matching red pumps (or a chic pair of boots — the skirt length is good for knee-length boots). I’m sure there must have been a practical reason for the type of shoes she is wearing in these photos (hopefully not because her feet are in as much trouble as mine, sigh). I’m just SO grateful these are a more attractive style than the clunky trainers that are so prevalent these days. Well done, Stephanie!
ReplyDeleteTotally agree!
ReplyDeleteOeps. Someone forgot to take of her slippers... I mean, seriously, I can't believe she left the house looking like this!
ReplyDeleteAnything wrong with comfy shoes at an MS Day Care centre where practicality, education and rehab are the goals? Not really. Heels are so bad for feet and should not be expected of people.
ReplyDeleteSelf-worth and love for family and people and your own goals and knowing what clothes you like - just beautiful!

She looked super vibrant at this visit, the dress is such a magnet that one totally overlooks other details that may be less flattering.
ReplyDeleteNice strong color. Don't care for the shoes or bag. The cause for this visit was more important anyway. Nice to see her again. css
ReplyDeleteGreat dress in a beautiful color for Stephanie but it needs a belt--a slim belt in a contrasting color would be good because the "pockets" are not defining her midsection enough because she is so short-waisted. But...the shoes and purse have to go. Little black flats and purse--maybe paired with a slim black belt. The shoes and purse are for summer wear. I'm still loving her haristyle though!

Why all the fuss about the comfortable shoes? This is not a high fashion event. A nursing home with, it seems, a slippery floor. The vibrant red dress brings cheer.
ReplyDeleteThis is what royal protocol is all about. During the War, the Queen Mother visited the Blitz sights in soothing colours.

Lovely brilliant shade of red on P.Stephanie, She looks lovely including her hairstyle
ReplyDeleteKudos to her for this visit and for the genuine joy she brings to people, no matter where or when.
God bless you, dear Stephanie, your smile and delicate manners are so heartwarming! .
