United Nations Day, celebrated on 24 October, marks the anniversary of the entry into force of the UN Charter in 1945. On the occasion of the anniversary, Princess Marie of Denmark attended the UN Day event hosted by the UN Foundation and the United Nations Association of the United States, held as a conversation on the global health challenges at Union Station in Washington D.C. As a founding member of the United Nations, Denmark continuously works towards finding collective answers to current crises.
