On October 18, King Charles III and Queen Camilla attended a dinner at the Mansion House in London, where they met with representatives from London's civic institutions and Livery Companies – the financial district’s ancient and modern trade guilds.
Queen Camilla wore a black evening dress with silver embroidery by Bruce Oldfield. The Queen also wore the late Queen Elizabeth’s tiara, the girls of Great Britain and Ireland diamond tiara. Her diamond necklace and earrings also belonged to the late Queen.
Queen looks amazing, does she have any jewellery of her own!
ReplyDeleteYes. All the jewels of the crown currently belong to the King (and Queen).
Delete@Anon 10:07 If you mean did she have any of her own jewellery before having access to royal jewellery through Charles, she had the Cubitt-Shand tiara, and many of her own private sets and pieces of Van Cleef and Arpels jewellery.

HM Queen Camilla looks fantastic.
ReplyDeleteSuperbe, tout est parfait chez Camilla ; elle a ressorti de son dressing cette robe très bien harmonisée avec les bijoux ainsi que la pochette argentée ; je ne l'ai jamais vue aussi bien maquillée !

DeleteCamilla’s face seems to be taking on a youthful look.
Maybe she has found a professional makeup artist or maybe the camera men have been told to only take photos from a distance.
She is certainly not a botox/filler person. so what is happening?
Whatever, her face and complexion look good.
She is remaining faithful to Bruce Oldfield, her longtime stylist.
He knows how to work with fashion for mature women.
The jewels. They make me feel so poor as against my humble collection of "Paste" jewels with almost no value except sentimental.
Deadeggs, sentimental value is the most valuable of all.
DeleteI agree with the sentimental value and maybe queen Camilla did not bother before how to care for her skin and face and now since she is Queen she might be advised better on how to do it, or it is probably done for her. Rose
DeleteSeveral positive comments on Camilla's face and complexion, Yes I agree. How to explain it ? I have had the question in my mind for some 2 or 3 weeks. Maybe some better tips on make up, possibly. However I would not totally exclude that she got convinced to try the fillers, but who knows ? Wait & see !
Delete@MaryT, I don't think the changement of her complection is from fillers.
DeleteWhatever it is and when we do find out, I'm going to buy some of that even if I have to talk to the bank about a little overdraft 😁
Could it be that Photoshop have created a magical cream?😀
ReplyDeleteAnalisi perfetta. Ha lavorato una vita per poterli indossare.

She looks very nice!! Those jewels are amazing!!
ReplyDeleteNot a fan of the entire look. Too much pattern in the dress, and way too much jewelry. Edwina.
ReplyDeleteQueen Camilla looks beautiful !!
ReplyDeleteKudos to Queen Camilla! This may be her best "queenly" outing so far. The beautiful Oldfield gown is complemented by the fabulous GGBI tiara and QEII's "Best Diamonds." The earrings are a perfect match to the silver print of the gown.
ReplyDeleteCamilla looks wonderful! I'm very pleasantly surprised to see the 'Girls' tiara that was so beloved of QEII.
ReplyDeleteI wonder why Camilla isn't wearing her orders and decorations when the King is. Maybe she just wanted to wear that dress and made the choice the sash etc wouldn't go.
This is such a beautiful dress, that Queen Camilla first wore in Berlin.
ReplyDelete(On her make -up: when in Paris wearing a beautiful evening gown in which she looks stunning, I read in a comment that qC does her own make-up)

Silver Queen - magnificient!!! Ac
ReplyDeleteI'm a big fan of this Tiara but it just doesn't suit Camilla. It's too delicate. She can rock the Greville tiara and other over the top jewels. This tiara just seems to disappear in her hair.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous looks from QC! So glad to see her delving into the BRF jewel vault--she looks marvelous in the Girls tiara and I'm so happy to see it out and about again. I hope to see her wearing the Vlad and the QA Kokoshnik too.

The Queen looks beautiful, love her choice of jewels, not a fan of her gown.
ReplyDeleteGlittering silver and black does not look nice. I like the tiara; but not sure that this is a tiara occasion. Hair and makeup looks good .Charles looks good and rather dapper. I do like the regal robes of the chap standing next to Charles(Tara)
ReplyDeleteQC wins the award for stunning jewels. The pieces she chose look great together and with her pretty dress. And the other lady wins an award for her stunning lace coat. Seriously, it’s gorgeous. I love that she wore a tiara too. Tiaras all around!!
