  2. My favourite pantsuit on Mary. Gorgeous model and colour, especially on her. As always, perfectly accessorized. Damsel Dragonfly

  3. Nice suit and color. I think it is time to shorten her hair a bit. It is a bit too long, this is OMO. css

  4. Cut your hair please a lovely above shoulder bob with curtain bangs lol these commoners that aren’t blue blood need to learn to not have such long hair. Ana

    1. Hi Ana, could you explain a little more why she needs shorter hair? I see comments on this theme often on this blog and I’m genuinely bewildered as from my perspective hair length is an option and not a need? I think long hair on women looks great and gives the option to be able to tie it back off the face or stick a golden crown on it as the occasion arises! BW, Clara.

Just a ridiculous and vacuous comment as usual, straight from the envy territory.
This Is the product of sheer ignorance.

    3. Please tell me you were not being disparaging when you referred to Crown Prince Mary as a commoner who does not know how to wear her hair because she is not a royal. If I did not know the difference I would think she was the royal. No one has as much grace and elegance and does it effortlessly. She has such an elegant and beautiful voice when she speaks in english.and it is like poetry. I have seen royals who look like a royal mess too. At the end of the day no one is any better than the other!

    4. I am sick and tired of people who always give advice on the hair of queens and princesses. They have mirrors so they can look in the mirror like you and me, before leaving. If they find themselves OK it is OK for me too. After all it is them who have to deal with their hair not me. Rose

    5. Ana, may we have examples of true blood royals with your suggested hairstyle? Feel free to add links :)

    6. @Ana: Sooo, what about the long hair on all these princesses -do you decree some special “pass” because they were born imperial/royal:

Belgium: Elisabeth, Eleonore; Greece and Denmark: Alexia, Theodora; Japan: Aiko, Kako; Netherlands: Catharina-Amalia, Alexia, Ariane; Norway: Ingrid-Alexandra; Spain: Leonor, Sofia, Elena, Cristina; Sweden: Victoria, Madeleine. I’m sure I’ve missed a few; these are just the ones that came to mind right away.

    7. Ana, hair is a very personal feature. Just because you might think a different cut would look better on someone than their current style, doesn’t mean it would. You have NO idea of their hair texture and whether a different style would work for THEIR hair, and NO idea of what time and resources they have or are willing to spend on what might be a much higher maintenance style.

    8. I think also Princess royale, Anne, has long hair, only that she does not wear it loose.

  5. Perfection! The suit, the color, the blouse, the shoes…CP Mary looks stylish and self-assured. And I love when she wears her glasses! It rounds out her face a bit. She looks very attractive in them.

  6. I love this whole look from Mary--this Massimo Dutti suit is gorgeous and so well. This shade of green is beautiful for Mary. She has been enjoying this blouse a good bit of late and its easy to see why--it goes with everything is a very polished choice. These Valentino pumps are among my favorites in her shoe wardrobe--flat out awesome. Mary's princess business professional is perfect!

  8. CPss Mary looks wonderful in this pantsuit - the color looks good with her dark hair, the fit is good, white blouse looks professional, curly hair add lovely feminine touch. Great choice of accessories.
Mary's hair look so thick and healthy,, so I'm not surprised she prefers them longer. I enjoy seeing women over 40 still wearing their hair long. When the material is good, why cut it shorter? But I agree that she would also rock the shorter bob haircut. And hair grow back, so why not try something new?

    4. HRH CP Mary was Crown Princess of Denmark nearly seven years before the Princess of Wales (then Catherine Middleton) married into the British royal family. I seriously doubt the Crown Princess is copying anyone.

    5. They don’t call them royal style twins for nothing :) but a copy of Catherine is a bit stretched

    6. Copy of middleton? Maybe you should search first begore you comment. CPMary has been doing his hair with that color and curls way before kate bevomes a UK royal. And she is wearing pants way before kate does.

Perfection again from ...hair to shoes!
The pant suit has a beautiful and flawless fit and the Valentino Rockstud pumps are a timeless classic.
The Rockstud basic design still comes out in different versions and colours.
Personally, I favour the suede bordeaux and red shades.
Rockstud never goes out of fashion, absolutely one of the best match items for classy outfits.

    1. Dear P the original.
I’d be into a pair of Rockstuds like tomorrow but my bank balance keeps getting in the way.
And if one day I get a pair, I’m going to have all the bottoms of my pant suits cut off so that people can see just how “glam” I am.
Know what I’m talking about? 😉

      Dear @ Deadeggs, the unique,
      I'm bursting out with laughter!
      Thank you for your comment.
Re: the Rockstud shoes (not only pumps).
I know they are rather pricey but prices vary according to the different designs, sometimes even according to colours(the red patent shade is more expensive than a light purple one, for example) and heel hight.
Another option might be a second- hand purchase, available on a number of websites.
I know I shouldn't be saying that but several cheaper "dupes" exist too.
Dupes can be found everywhere and there also high- end makeup brands dupes.
Pros: the Rockstud designs are incredibly comfy, no matter what the heel height is and the number of hours you walk or stand in them and they are made of first rate materials.
      Manufacture is excellent.
Generally speaking, one of the tricks to wear high heeled pumps is to size up.
The use of silicon feet protections is advisable as well.
I guess all of the royal ladies featured on this site know these tricks and tips.
Hope Mr Valentino is reading me and is willing to hire me to promote his brand😂😉

      Dear @ Deadeggs,
what can i say about the video?
      Yes, touching.
Unfortunately, I' ve been able to see it up to the point when Q.Margrethe gave her speech at the wedding reception.
She told Mary something like : " The gardens of Denmark are flourishing with you".
      Splendid.
I enjoyed that Danish words flow which has become so dear to me too, that sort of connecting words together which sounds like a merry " jumping".
This Is how I perceive the Danish, language, a merry jumping.
CP Mary was able to catch soon the very essence of the Danish ' mood'.
That' s the way I call it.
Yes, the Danes can really make others feel welcome and accepted,, it does not matter where you come from and who you are.
It must be even more touching if you are going to be the heir's bride and the future Queen.
It must have been so appreciated by Mary though she was feeling nervous and insecure.
It was a physical and psychological journey from her native homeland to a country so far away for a lot of reasons.
Hope I'll be able to watch the entire video .
By the way, Mary speaks Danish really well👍
She was so nice when she first met with the press as P. Frederick's official fianceè and mixed Danish and English!
      Thank you.👍

  12. If you have about one hour to spare, and if you are interested, take a look at the Youtube video (2022) of Princess Mary’s life as a young lady in Australia to being a Crown Princess in Denmark.
There are some nice sentimental moments.
    Kleenexes recommended.
    Happy viewing.
