On September 18, 2023, King Felipe and Queen Letizia attended the first edition of 'La Vanguardia Awards' (MNAC) at the National Museum of Art of Catalonia in Barcelona. The awards, created by the Godó Group, coinciding with the newspaper's recent 140th anniversary, will be presented annually starting this year.
The awards honor the work of entities, institutions, companies and people who carry out activity in the social, economic, political or cultural fields. The winners are chosen by a jury made up of prominent personalities and members of La Vanguardia editorial team.
On September 18, 2023, King Felipe and Queen Letizia received the Spanish Artistic Swimming Team and the Spanish Waterpolo teams that competed in the 10th World Swimming Championships 2023 that took place in Fukuoka, Japan in July this year, at the Albeniz Palace in Barcelona.
Toujours aussi élégante et souriante

The first man she shook hands with lowered his eyes....just a fraction :)
ReplyDeleteHe just looks at the medal he receives…
DeleteThe dress is beautiful and I like how the gold metallic shoes the model wore really bring out the floral print. Letizia has been conspicuously wearing very low heeled shoes lately. What happened to her 4 or 5 inch stillettos?
ReplyDeleteShe switched to black stilettos with gold heels for the evening event.
DeleteLetizia has
DeleteThe Queen wore a fabulous pair of Carolina Herrera “Good Girl” 4” stilettos (black with metallic gold heels) for part of the evening and then changed to a pair of lower heels.

Letizia has chronic metatarsalgia (pain in the ball of the foot) in both of her feet, as well as Morton's neuroma in her left foot. Morton's neuroma is thickening of the nerve tissue.
DeleteMon dieu, i know, how morton neurom feels, can‘t walk in heels or pretty shoes, too painful. How does the queen cope with it?
DeleteWhat a lovely dress. Sympathy for Queen Letizia if she has foot pain but the dress is definitely better with the higher heels. Lovely.
DeleteGreat dress from beautiful fabric.. Love the sling-back shoes
ReplyDeleteWouah, quelle élégante silhouette dans cette robe légèrement ceinturée ; il me semble que le style de ses boucles d'oreilles reprend celui de certains de ses motifs dorés ; ce serait bien de les voir plus près !
ReplyDeleteOh no another black dress what has the world come to 😱
ReplyDeleteYes another beautiful and elegant dress, no crazy colours!
DeletePerfect lovely classic dress,
ReplyDeleteMabel
Sur la vidéo à l arrivée Letizia portait des talons aiguilles et ensuite elle est descendu d un étage , peut être des douleurs aux pieds. C est bien d avoir des chaussures de rechange

ReplyDeleteCan't get more beautiful than this. She does simple and elegant better than anyone.

The first time Queen Letizia wears Belgian design by Dries Van Noten. On the last picture the skirt of the dress worn by the model looks narrower and shorter than the dress worn by Queen Letizia. Everything Dries makes fits well. I think I saw QL with golden shoes once, she can wear them with this dress for a change, if she wants. I love it. Rose

DeleteEmana classe pura!
ReplyDeleteThis dress is superb, beautiful fabric. Excellent craftmanship, love everything about this dress. Her earrings are very effective.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely gorgeous--both QL and her dress!
