On September 1, Queen Silvia of Sweden attended the opening of the residential quarter named Smart City Forst built for people suffering from dementia in Lausitz (Forst), Germany.

Smart cities offer resources that can help the elderly and those suffering from Alzheimer’s or dementia by allowing them to feel confident and secure. Founded by Queen Silvia in 1996, Silviahemmet cooperates with Germany in dementia care.

    Queen Silvia flawless - as almost always. The costume is well made and fits her well. Great hair. But the ladies in her company - very badly - did not seem to know how to choose the right size of clothing.

    This suit (or is it a sheath dress and matching jacket?) is fabulous on HM Q Silvia. I agree with others in thinking the Queen looks her best in bold colors. I’m a sucker for hot pink shades so I was pretty much bound to like it, but I’m also admiring the impeccable cut and fit of the garments on her. Brava, Your Majesty!
