On September 26, 2023, The Princess of Wales visited Leeds and Lancaster in England. During her visit, the Princess of Wales visited the AW Hainsworth textile mill in Leeds to learn more about the textile industry and how it’s vital to the U.K.’s economy. AW Hainsworth made the scarlet tunics for the Guardsmen on duty during the coronations of both Queen Elizabeth in 1953 and King Charles in May.

  1. Smart business like outfit. Lovely to read in a news article how appreciative the crowd were at seeing the Princess of Wales in a city that often feels overlooked. The mill was once owned by Catherine's great grandfather Noel Middleton. Why did the woman in the navy dress think the flat yellow shoes were a good idea?

Beautiful from head to toe. I particularly like this shade of green and above all the blouse. What a nice neckline (I hope this is the correct English word for it). I.P.

I agree completely! I don't understand people are already bored with pantsuits. They look so much better and more modern than most midi dresses she used to wear. Damsel Dragonfly

  6. Fantastic suit with a great blouse underneath. But I do find the set of buttons at the sleeves irritating. It´s a design idea, I know, but it looks like twisted sleeves.

I LOVE Kate's look in the first two photos.
The shade of green of her jacket - not to mention the jacket's lovely style - goes well with the cut and colour of her longer, shaggy mane. Wonderful!

Lovely color combination- suit, top, jewels. It is a great color for her as well as a well tailored suit. Again a great suit which is such a wonderful “go to” for a working mom.

So interesting for the Princess of Wales to be back in Leeds at the current textile mill given her ancestors (Middleton, Lipton) created and work in a Leeds textile mill before they sold it in the 1950’s to this present textile company. I wonder if she had a chance to connect about distant relations while visiting.

I do not like it anymore. Kind of boring outfit. Old fashioned suit, gruesome colour. It's about time for another haircut too. The last modification of her hairstyle does nothing for her. Her smile is nice as always. Frieda

Thank you Frieda! At last a realistic comment ! I was amazed by all the praises about her fabulous suit.

Same boring ordinary style, a suit in different colours. Not even bother to have a nicer top. Hard to understand how people can praise her being fabulous.

      I agree with you Frieda.
These suits are becoming somewhat of a uniform.
Like Victoria she seems to have bought one in every color.
In my humble opinion Kate ' s hair hasn't looked at its best for about two years.
Needs a cut of at least 10cm.
I do like the bangs though.

Dear P. the original, your comments are hilarious! I too have long hair and love long hair in general… I never understand the people here saying long hair needs to be cut (unless unhealthy).., but I love that one of our American? friends here (she writes “bangs” not fringe) has labelled herself Hair Police! - excellent name, well humoured (Jane).

  10. I think the new hair style suits her perfectly. It frames her face and softens her features. It reminds me of a time when she was pregnant and she had that style then, she has a glow with this style, her cheeks and dimples stand out more. Makes her look younger also. Her outfit is very elegant, she wears a pant suit perfectly.

Love this look and I love seeing this suit again! The green is so gorgeous on her. Like seeing that she is able to change up her new curtain bangs/fringe using a side part--it looks wonderful too.

Her hair is perfection! So modern and well styled. Like the trousers style much better than the super tight or super wide. I think this suits her frame best. Interesting how she is wearing so many pants suits now. I think she wore dresses more before bc the queen preferred them and now we are seeing more if her style. Either way she is always so polished. - Katie

Beautiful color suit for the season, but the jacket is not quite the right length (should be either shorter or longer) and the pants are off on fit as well. Hoping for a knee length skirt at her next event!

Getting sick and tired of all these suits lately on the roya ladies. Great colour on Kate,. Don't like the shirt, but I'm so bored. S

Catherine looks stunning every day, and she do not let the fashion/clothes be the main point but the case she supports.

  16. J'aime beaucoup le style de sa chemise qui peut être porté aussi bien avec une tenue habillée que décontractée , nouveau collier à maillons ainsi que les boucles d'oreilles ; je ne vois pas très bien ?!

I don't understand the critics re pant suit. Yes, a kind of uniform, same as her coat dresses. The context here is "working royal" and not "catwalk model". - What I really don't like is her hairstyle. Shaggy cut, the last cry - but not really something for the Princess of Wales, photographed from all angles, whereby the most prominent feature is not her face anymore but but instead, her hair and bangs and whatnot blown in all possible directions. 18. The PoW is amazing as usual but I am sorry; that long shaggy hair is the pits. It brings down the entire look!
