Pretty outfit but then I’m a big fan of polka dots and that beautiful shade of blue. Glad that the Princess has recovered from Covid!

Agreed! Lovely that she's going to Peru. I am wondering why the emperor doesn't do a lot of these visits to other countries? I assume it's a custom the emperor doesn't? Anyone who knows? Damsel Dragonfly

  2. Ravissante jeune fille dans cette association du bleu roi et d'une robe imprimée à pois ; le style de ses chaussures aurait mérité un peu plus de modernité !

  3. Lovely shade of blue and nice outfit altogether. Not a huge fan of the white shoes but they're okay.

  5. Terrific dress with an appropriate jacket. Love those polka dots! I always wince at the shoes worn by the Japanese RF, but I don't have to wear them. :^)

She always seems to be pleased to be attending these events.

We are all brainwashed by what the fashion industry commands us to believe to be beautiful and we comply with it like good consumers should. Older women cannot comply, so these shoes automatically get the label "old and ugly". What they really are is comfortable :-) . - Kako is beautifully dressed, the short jacket is very nice with this dress. (GM)

Pretty dress and beautiful blue jacket--Kako looks great in that shade of blue. So glad she has recovered and has been able to go home too--never good to be sick and have to stay away from home in hotel. She looks lovely here. Can't love those white shoes though because I really don't like white shoes. Excited to see Kako in Peru!

Princess Kako in a lovely and fresh outfit. If only she was able to wear more up-to-date shoes. She should also learn to walk right up and not to bow for everyone and everything. But I suppose that's their way of doing things in Japan. Rose

Dear Rose, What an ignorant, silly comment. The Japanese do a lot of bowing so that their posture obviously suffers. Perhaps you should fly to Japan and give everybody lessons on how to reform their customs, they will be delighted to see you.

If you look at other pictures her mother Princess Kiko is bowing not so often and less deep. Also most men are standing right up.
Since you are so clever maybe you can tell me if this custom is more expected from young girls or from any woman and if the men are excluded ? I can understand if one encounter a princess, or prince or the Crown Princes couple everybody have to bow in Japan. Are commoners bowing too for each other ? The younger people for the elderly f.ex. ? It was never my intention to learn them other customs. Besides there are no silly questions only silly answers. Rose
