On September 26, Princess Anne officially opened the renovated Old War Office Building in Whitehall. Whitehall is a road and area in the district of Westminster. The grade II-listed Old War Office Building is a London landmark, and is the place where Churchill commanded armed forces, spies and government officials in its secret tunnels. The building has been converted to a fancy house and a hotel with a six-year renovation.

Love the Princess Royal's festive silk(?)suit. Especially the colour becomes her. The black gloves however are too harsh, which detracts from this elegant ensemble.

    1. That skirt is definitely the shortest i have ever seen on her, but flattering. the gloves are a good contrast to the aqua blue suit, i like that she keeps them on while shaking hands.
      Beatrice looks lovely as always

The gloves are not black, they are navy blue color .

  2. I’m beginning to think Princess Anne’s gloves are part of her diet plan.
You see, at most of these events, they present a glass of wine and finger food.
So, if you keep your gloves on, you can’t bog into the finger food.
Maybe we’re learning something of importance from the Princess Royal.

  3. Belle allure dans ce tailleur/jupe de couleur turquoise à laquelle elle ne nous a pas vraiment habitués ; par contre, toujours le bleu-marine de ses gants !

I know it's never happening, but I'd love to see her give up the gloves. Here they are so hard and distracting on her outfit. As for suit, beautiful vintage fashion. I do think the scarf clashes a little, since the suit already has a print in the silk. But that shade of blue is beautiful on her. And I love the red dress on the lady next to her.

    1. Chel, agree with you that the suit is a beautiful colour and looks great on the Princess Royal but not keen on the scarf. I also think the gloves don't look good here but they are part of her regular formal wear and, as you say she's not likely to stop wearing them now. I also like the red dress. Princess Beatrice looks great. Please can we see more of her and her sister

Not a fan of Pss Annes outfit today. The color is very nice. I do like Pss Beatrice ERDEM dress color and all. Wonder if Edoardo keep his facial hair. I like him better without it. css

Princess Anne has nailed the sophisticated fashion stakes for business attire; the colour of the suit is lovely.
I like the scarf and earrings. The shoes bag and gloves stylish ;matching accessories that's what you need.

Beatrice is taking a leaf from her aunt’s playbook- she looks fantastic in an 11 year old dress!
Is the war office opening up to the public as a museum?
