As part of the commemorations marking the centenary of the birth of Prince Rainier, Prince Albert, Princess Charlene, Princess Caroline, Princess Stephanie, Charlotte Casiraghi, Andrea Casiraghi, Camille Gottlieb and Louis Ducruet attended the opening of the 'Salon Rainier III' and the exhibition 'Le Prince Constituant' at the National Council of Monaco.
CELINE midi dress
Tiens Charlotte se prépare à entrer au pensionnat... elle fait vraiment gamine attardée ici vêtue de cette façon (tenue et chaussures). On se demande ce qui lui passe par la tête parfois...!
ReplyDeleteI, for one like her outfit.
Deleteperhaps we should be grateful Charlene is not wearing black, only the next dull color to it
Deletej
J just couldn't help herself..Congrats.
DeleteNice to see almost everyone of the family attending this event. Charlene's suit has a perfect cut, I would have preferred a brighter color for the top underneath. Caroline's dress is ok, but I don't feel excited about it. The other ladies are fine in their respective style.
ReplyDeleteTout est question de goût personnel
ReplyDeleteCaroline s habille comme une dame âgée, la reine Élisabeth était plus pimpante
Charlene toujours la sobriété et classe
Froufrou
Princess Caroline's dress by Céline is announced on the last picture as a midi dress which is not the case. The hemline of Princess Caroline's dress is just under the knee. The dress fits her well, but in a brighter color she would have looked so much better. I don't like Charlotte's Casiraghi's outfit. She looks a bit like a grown school girl to me. Camille Gottlieb looks very fresh in her white shirt and coffee beige trousers. Princess Stephanie very casual as always. Last but not least Charlene wearing a grey pant-suit and a black T-shirt. A nice jacket/blazer in light beige or even white would have made the whole picture a bit more brighter. Rose
ReplyDeleteAlways intrigued by the mix of styles and formality when this family gathers. But then again, if you’ve not been there, Monaco is not much more than a seaside town, 2 square km / 0.8 square miles … and one of the beautiful things about a seaside town is that you can dress up or down and still fit in. - AnneLise.
ReplyDeleteNice suit of princess Charlene but what a drab colour in summer !!
ReplyDeleteI agree with you. Even a white top under would have made it look less drab. The suit itself is excellent.
DeleteLadyofthemanor
What a drab colour indeed.
DeleteCan I throw in my two penny's worth into the “dark colour/black” summer subject..
DeleteI live very close to a long sandy beach and in summer there can be over 3.000 people sunning and swiming there. AND since this discussion started I’ve begun to note the number of women who wear a black, one piece bathing suit. Black bikinis are worn but to a lesser degree than the one piece ones.
Should I approach these women/girls and remind them that black is not a summer colour and how out of fashion they are?
It makes sense that they are not dressed too colorfully. This is not an occasion for any of them to stand out. They are there out of respect, not to grab the spotlight. I love this family because they gather so readily for these events. I never get the feeling that it has taken great coordination to get them there, they just have their priorities straight. Family first.
DeleteOh no, @ Deadeggs, don' t do It, please.
DeleteI am a fan of black one piece bathing suits and bikinis.
I also love black dresses , above all the most sensual ones, I think you know what I mean.
I love head turning black clothes😉😉
Well we are september. Why is people so hung up about colours? Charlene looks great in the suit. Classic, elegant and it is right for the occasion. Look at the woman around her. Not gonna mention my thoughts about the Celine dress.
DeleteDear P. the original.
DeleteNow head turning black clothes sounds a bit naughty.
But I know you are doing it for the well being of other human beings.
You must have a lot of credit points with your Karma.
Please continue to do your wonderful work for humanity.
The world needs more people like you. 😊
@Deadeggs😉😂😂👍👍👏👏👏👋
DeleteCome on, sometimes charme is something natural and clothes just help emphasize what is already there.
I simply love black garments!
Problems arise from some womens' uhm...reluctance to accept that I can't t just hide what has been given by Nature.
I’m torn about HSH P Charlene’s suit - the cut and fit are beautiful on her. But, at least on my screen, the grey has a distinctly green undertone and I don’t think it’s flattering to the princess. If the undertone were blue, I think it would look much better on her. HRH P Caroline’s dress is very pretty on her and her choice of shoes with it is excellent.

Nice suit for Charlene, but a bit boring. Nice to see so many members of the family there. css
ReplyDeleteBeaucoup de sobriété chez Charlène dans ce costume dont la couleur ne la flatte pas du tout ; le choix de Caroline est plus judicieux mais au niveau des chaussures, j'aurais bien vu des Chanel noire/blanche !
ReplyDeleteCaroline Carrys the pride of Monaco. Everybody else is a disappointment to Grace Kelly's legacy

Princess Charlene’s trouser suit is a particularly dull colour. Drab describes it perfectly, Anon 16 33. Princess Caroline’s dress is okay but there’s something not quite right about it. Is it the length? Or the elasticated waist? Princess Stephanie is too casual for the event and I glike Charlotte’s outfit but Camille’s is my winner today.

I really like Stephanies outfit best, very genuine en relaxed
ReplyDeleteI agree. The other outfits are in the range weird to boring.
DeletePss Charlene's pantsuit, fits well and looks stylish, but the color is rather dull. Camille looks stylish and quietly elegant. I don't like Pss Stephanie's outfit at all. Charlotte's outfit, I don't like. Pss Caroline's dress is nice, but rather bland.
ReplyDeleteI do like the pantsuit of Charlene and I do like the color, very popular amongst youngsters ( and also in the window frame-industry haha really).
ReplyDeleteCaroline is wearing a kind of dress -copy paste the eighties- and of a particular kind that even grannies don't want to wear(remember) any more!
The weary hair ads to it that you only can think if even this georgious women can't wear it nobody can, so leave this thing in the closet for ever!

Where’s Princess Alexandra??
ReplyDeleteOMG! What is Charlotte wearing, that's awful!
