King Carl XVI Gustaf of Sweden ascended the throne on September 15, 1973. This year marks The King 50 years as Sweden's head of state. As a celebration of King Carl Gustaf's 50th anniversary on the throne, the King and Queen are paying visits to Sweden's 21 counties. On August 24, 2023, King Carl Gustaf and Queen Silvia visited Halland County. The King and Queen visited the Fab Lab at Halmstad University and Halmstad City Library.
Very nice polished look. Nice to see the gentleman the king is letting his wife walk in front of him, not obsessed with being a few steps ahead of her.

DeleteAnother beautiful outfit from QS--she looks wonderful! I love this shade of blue and its great for her. I also really like how the soft ruffled blouse looks with the suit. KGC and QS have been so busy lately but its so good to see them out and about.

The only thing I would change in this outfit are the shoes - too "elderly lady" 's. The rest is great as always.

ReplyDeleteShoes and purse too old ? These are exactly the same shoes Queen Margrethe is wearing. I think they must be quiet comfortable. The purse by Hermes is never outdated. Even second hand you still pay a lot of money. She does not spend a lot of money on shoes and purses because she still uses her old Chanel's (shoes and purses), Hermes (the Kelly and Birkin bag), etc... Rose
