Japanese Imperial Family arrived at Nasu Villa for summer holiday

Empress Masako wore sky blue shirt and white trousers. Princess Aiko wore a green floral print midi dress

Japanese Emperor Naruhito and his family arrived at the Imperial Villa in the town of Nasu located in the eastern prefecture of Tochigi to take a rest. It is the first time in four years for the family to have a retreat at the Nasu Imperial Villa. Emperor Naruhito, Empress Masako and their daughter, Princess Aiko, will stay at the villa until early September. In the evening, the family walked around the "omeitei" wooden pavilion within the villa premises.

The Empress looks so chic in the white trousers and dark jacket with the two-toned shoes and bag. Elegant but not fussy. The second outfit is very nice too - a relaxed shirt in a flattering blue colour. (V.M.)

I was going to be very happy with Princess Aiko's dress... until I saw the front and the neckline. Too much fabric here I'm afraid. Colour, print and sleeves are lovely though. And I like Empress Masako casual shirt !

With Japanese and Chinese you'll never know. Their faces are showing a big smile but what is going on in their mind at the same time, you'll never know.

They look happy and relaxed, and I like both of Masako's outfits. She looks very good in them.

How lovely Empress Masako is in her more casual outfits, how sad Princess Aiko's dress is as well as her shoes. If only the color was a bit brighter and the dress a bit shorter and a better pair of shoes. I have always the impression that it is forbidden for her to wear brighter and more fashionable clothes. The Emperor wears a shirt with short sleeves and he left the jacket of his suit inside, but the cut of his clothes is always old fashioned too. A look at them together tells me that the Empress is the best dressed. Rose

  8. Empress Masako after changing into a different blouse just looks very youthful and - dare we say it - stylish! So good to see.

Nice casual look for the family. I like the dress Aiko is wearing, something different for a change. css

  10. Empress Masako really looks very good in casual clothes. The white pants, white top and Black jacket, look exceptionally lovely, combined with the black two toned shoes, fabulous! very stylish. Her pale blue blouse, and white pants, again very refreshing and chic. Princess Aiko's dress is nice, but I don't like the neckline.
