OMG nooooo, not sneakers ;)
ReplyDeleteExactly 😶
DeleteI don’t understand her choice of this outfit / sneakers.
DeleteAgree with your dislike of the white trainers for any occasion that's not sports/casual but they actually look better with these trousers than the boots did. If she couldn't wear heels then flats like the other three women in the last picture are wearing would do.
DeleteI am bit surprised posters are objecting to Victoria wearing sneakers during a visit to a rehab center--especially on a gym-type floor.

I was making fun after the last debacle with sneakers. That's why I put the emoji at the end. I don't have any problem with the sneakers. Infact I have sneakers on myself, and use them a lot as every other person also do.
DeleteTrès joli vert qui sied à merveille à Victoria mais je n'arrive pas à trouver des revers à la veste ?! Son haut et ses baskets sont très bien dans leur couleur blanche !
ReplyDeleteGorgeous. A perfectly approachable Princess!
ReplyDeleteI agree. Think she looks great and love the green. I don't think the sneakers are a problem, in fact, I love them ;)

Agree
DeleteI never have a problem with sneakers on royals because why not, and this is not only valid if they are outside in Mother Nature trekking or doing whatever outdoorsy activities they do. But it should be in harmony with the rest of their outfit and this is not the case with this jacket, which is more on the elegant side. I like the jacket with the top, but the trousers are somewhat ill fitting overall, cannot really put the finger on why and where. (GM)
ReplyDeleteShe is visiting a rehab facility, a gym like place. Usually you are not allowed to walk with shoes on that kind of floors. Sneakers, trainers, nurses shoes or should she walk around in her socks?
DeleteI agree with you about the trousers and these are not the only ones she has worn where the fit is a bit off. Very nice green color and it looks a lot better paired with white than black as in previous occasion.

I think the problem with the pants is the abrupt narrowing of the leg at the ankle. A gradual taper needed so not to balloon.
DeleteI like the suit, although the trousers are a bit ill-fitting, no objections to the sneakers. They all seem to be walking on a floor covering where heels are not recommended. I prefer this hair clip rather than her usual bun, it looks softer.
ReplyDeleteLove the outfit and very considerate of her to wear sneakers on a gym floor. SuzieQ
ReplyDeleteI suppose she couldn't wear anything else than sneakers or flat shoes because of the floor in the Rehab Station. On a floor like this, if you wear stiletto's it is ruined immediately.
ReplyDeleteIn the past she received already critics on this pant suit and also on the black booties she was wearing with it. (last picture). I like her in this green color. It is fresh and the pant suit is so much better than the 2 checkered ones she wore lately. Rose
The biggest problem I see here is the style and fit of the trousers. The cut is totally wrong for her and makes her legs look awfully short. I also agree in principle that sneakers with formal trousers are a big no. However, I must say that the sneakers look better than any heeled shoe would have with that type of trousers, so it´s almost good she wore those, though of I can think of other flat shoes that would have been better - something that is casual enough for the type of event she attended yet formal enough to work with the suit. Much like the other ladies are wearing.
ReplyDeleteThe jacket fits well enough but is too long for her body type. I think it might work with a short skirt. The white top is good, as is the colour combination with the green.
@ Vanessa & AnnieM. The flat shoes the other ladies are wearing are certainly not better than the white sneakers, on the contrary.
DeleteI LOVE this! This is exactly how I wear my suits (in fact, I own that very model in purple :D) - with a t-shirt and sneakers. It's young and fresh, the colour suits her so well and she can move around easily on that floor. Well done!

Love the outfit, fits her quite well, colour is not over the top, and nice of her to wear sneakers when walking on a gymnasium floor. Rachel
ReplyDeleteNice suit and color. But the shoes really Victoria? css
ReplyDeleteReally love this suit--the green is a great color for Victoria. I'm fine with the sneakers given she is visiting a rehab center. Hope she wears it again--and leaves the black boots at home again.
ReplyDeleteJanet
Love this shade of green, lovely pantsuit, but I dont like the white sneakers.
ReplyDeleteSneakers in Scandinavia to a dress, suit or jeans is perfrectly ok. We all do that. It's fashion. Belived it was in the world to, oh well...
ReplyDeleteBelieve me, it is fashion for young and older people in other European countries, the US, Asia, .... too. Rose
