Erdem Scarlet Strawberry Print Silk Voile Gown
GABRIELA HEARST Mariano Printed Silk Shirt Dress
ME+EM Cotton Striped Sweater
ME+EM Forever Summer Tux Flared Trouser
Love the Dresdens, especiaaly the white one.
ReplyDeleteThe trousers and top are nice, but it suits a more petite woman, it tends to look too big and too much fabrics.

I simply love all three outfits because they reflect her nature and character. In the pictures, she is in harmony with herself and therefore beautiful.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous. Just gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteOhhh, all outfits so perfectly nice! Soft, light colors and beautiful pictures! Ac
ReplyDeleteWhat to say, the Erdem dress in the garden! Wow!!! She does many strange choices fashiowise, but when she hits it, she is the best!! My crownprincess.
ReplyDeleteFor me, very disappointing. She is a beautiful woman, but with a lamentable taste as for her outfits. The Erdem dress - I don't think I have to elaborate on why it is too much on every possible dimension? The trousers combination is almost good, could be better in another colour for the top - but why, oh why those frills even on a knitted pullover? Then, the Gabriela Hearst dress - OK, I generally don't like shirt dresses, my subjectivity, but here I think again: pattern and colours are simply not good for her. I remember her in simple navy blue - excellent!

I feel the same way. I don´t really like any of the outfits. Her taste is usually too frilly for my liking. Most of the stuff she wears needs streamlining I think - less fabric, less frills, less details. We know it´s her taste and she is clearly comfortable; she also is beautiful, though I think it´s despite of her her clothes, not because they enhance her beauty. The white trousers are the best item I can see here, the rest can go. The Hearst dress especially is a mystery to me - the embellishment looks hideous. And yes - those shoulder frills on a knitted top are awful. The Erdem dress has a nice shape and would potentially look ok in a solid colour; with all those frills literally everywhere, the pattern and the acidy colour are simply too much.
DeleteThe second dress looks great on her. I like the yellow one too but she is wearing this kind of dresses al the time.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely lady the Crown Princess is. Birthday greetings to her as well as congratulations on the forthcoming wedding anniversary.
ReplyDeleteMy favourite item in these photos is the the fabulous wide legged trousers. I liked the dress in the first couple of photos but it looks tight when you see the full length ones. I'm not certain that yellow is the best colour background for this very fair princess. Likewise, not a huge fan of the printed white outfit though it's a brilliant photo of Mette-Marit
Does anyone know where we can read the interview. I would really like to but I do not read Norwegian. Maybe translated in English or translate app. Thank you

DeleteSplendid, just splendid!
ReplyDeleteThe perfect balance between beauty and sweetness.
I normally do not like pieces like this Erdem gown but this one is a dream and blends in well with the nature all around.
I also like the other outfits.
Happy birthday, wonderful Princess!
I love CP Mette Marit's hair and make-up in the first 5 pictures, but not the yellow dress in itself. Never liked Erdem dresses on anybody. I think she looks the best in the Gabriela Hearst dress. The striped sweater and wide pants are also lovely but not together. I'd wear a blouse in a thinner fabric to go with the pants or navy/black straight pants to go with the sweater. Just my opinion. ReplyDeleteTotally agree with you. The outdoor photos are beautifully staged but I don't like the dress. The Herst dress has clean lines and the slightly open neck looks so much better on her than all the high neck dresses she usually wears. I would love to see a picture of her standing up in that one.

Depuis la première photo dans le jardin, c'est sa robe jaune imprimée que je préfère ; avec son maquillage délicat, elle est vraiment magnifique !
ReplyDeleteMM looks stunning. Very nice outfits. css
ReplyDeleteGorgeous! No more, no less.
ReplyDeleteI love the Erdem dress in the garden, and even more the Hearst dress on the couch. Those colours work beautifully with her blonde hair.
MM has always been one of my favourite royals and she remains so. I wish her happiness and good health on her birthday and in the years to come. She is part of a beloved royal house, and when hers and Haakon's turn comes, I'm sure they will make a very good, modern King and Queen consort.

The varying outfits and locations are fun, but I prefer her in more modern, streamlined clothes. Both dresses take away from her beauty with all the stuff…busy patterns, long sleeves, high neck, pleats, pintucks, graphic designs. The cream pants in the last photo are very good…perfect length and beautiful draping.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures. Compliments to the photographer.
ReplyDeleteShe looks happy and healthy! I personally love her fashion choices because they suit her earthy, casual nature. I think she nailed all three choices.
ReplyDeleteThese photos are beautiful. I don't normally like dresses such as the Erdem dresses, but in this instance the dress suits the background. Indeed she looks stunning. The shirtdress, again not something I would normally like, but CP MM looks fabulous. The cream pants she wears beautifully. The sweater looks great, individual. Its wonderful to see her looking so well and healthy.
ReplyDeleteInfo: on the last photo MM is standing in front of a tapestry she has woven herself.
ReplyDeleteScandinavian beauty she is
ReplyDeleteI normally love these feminine romantic dresses, but somehow they don't suit her. Like somebody already said, she looks better in a navy pantsuit with a white shirt.
ReplyDeleteThe yellow Erdem dress is nice but I’m not convinced this color suits her. Her make up gives her some color otherwise it would wash her out. Also I think this dress works better with more flat chested women. The white dress has I really nice print and the colors enhance her complexion. Love the jumper and pants from ME+EM, but not together. That said, she looks lovely in these pictures.
