Crown Princess Mette-Marit celebrates her 50th birthday today

Crown Princess Mette-Marit turned 50 today. On the occasion of the birthday, the Royal Court released a new photo of the Princess. The Crown Princess was born on 19 August 1973. Her engagement to Crown Prince Haakon was announced on 1 December 2000, and they married on 25 August 2001. Together they have two children: Princess Ingrid Alexandra and Prince Sverre Magnus. On 20 July Crown Prince Haakon turned 50 years old. Friday 25 August there will be a celebration of them both.
