ALESSANDRA RICH Polka-Dot Pleated Midi Dress
Fabulous and joyful!
ReplyDeleteCharmant couple mais à la place de William, j'aurais tombé la veste ; incontournable robe bleue à pois qui vont bien à Kate !
ReplyDeleteKate's favourite polka dots make an appearance once again, and this time her dress looks fresh and clean and quite attractive. I think it owes it all to the beautiful blue colour, which to me makes a big difference. I'm even distracted enough not to care too much about the white pumps, which dare I say, seem quite complementary to the outfit. Nice. (Now I need to get some tea and a scotch egg after seeing that beautiful food laden table).

I love this dress, primarily because the colour is so fresh and summery on P.Catherine. She is certainly getting her wear out of those white pumps, which look awfully uncomfortable to me, but they seem to be her preferred look. It’s interesting that she chooses such high heels given that she’s already a tall woman. (V.M.)
ReplyDeleteI think Catherine has all the polka dots dresses by that brand. Now that in many countries the little flowers dresses have almost disappeared the PoW is elaborating her collection of polka dot dresses year after year. Rose
ReplyDeleteOk, it is going to be a summer of white pumps, they look happy and having fun

Very nice. Who decorated, the cupcake better? css
ReplyDeleteThis is a very pretty dress, lovely to see the rewear. The color is gorgeous, I like the polka dots. This was a wonderful visit.
ReplyDeleteStill not loving the dress or the white shoes, but they obviously fit the theme of the day. Love the photo of Catherine sitting down smiling. Not the biggest fan of seeing her hair long and open while handling food, but that's my personal pet peeve and I know that these pictures are mostly for show. Still wish she would occassionally sport a ponytail or something more youthful during those events.

Coco Chanel gets a mention in the history of polka dot fabric.
ReplyDeleteIn the 1920’s the printed fabric started to dominate fashion in Europe.
Coco Chanel favoured dots in her alluring collections, making them an instant favourite with the masses.
And 100 years later, they are still around.
