King Abdullah II, Queen Rania, Crown Prince Hussein, and Princess Rajwa attended the Sun Valley Summit in Idaho. The annual forum brings together political, economic, and media leaders from all over the world to discuss and find solutions to the problems of today’s political and economic landscapes. Princess Rajwa wore a classic hooded denim bodysuit by Alaia. Queen Rania wore a blue dress by Vocavaca.

Is it cold this time of the year in Jordan ? The denim quality of the queen and the princess dresses look rather thick to me. Rose
ReplyDeleteThese photos were taken in at Sun Valley ski resort in Idaho in the USA. It’s definitely not winter in Idaho, but I think the climate there likely feels cold to the family since the location is in the mountains. I suspect they’re used to much warmer temps.

They're not in Jordan. They're in the US in Idaho!
DeleteSorry my mistake they are in Idaho (USA). But I heard that big parts of the US are suffering from the heat too. Rose

ReplyDeleteBoth ladies look lovely and casually stylish in blue.
ReplyDeleteSo nice to see a new, fresh, (and naturally beautiful) royal face gracing the pages of this blog, and also a not-so-often featured designer whose avant-garde, leather-and-strap creations I have always admired.

The King and CP look like they are going to work at a mechanic shop or something like that. As for the ladies, these bulky, drab dresses do them no favors. But their beauty shines through.

They were dressed more formally than most of the other attendees, who by and large wore jeans and tee-shirts.

It's denim day in Jordan, yay!
ReplyDeleteThey are not in Jordan. ~~Andrea
DeleteI know. It's denim day for the Jordanians, yay! Better now?
DeleteWhat a beautiful family! Both the Queen and Princess Rajwa look beautifully informal, while still looking well chic and perfectly put together. I do have one question: the Princess appears to me to be wearing a dress. Does anyone know why it’s called a bodysuit? Is it actually two pieces and the top part is a bodysuit? Inquiring minds want to know )))!
ReplyDeleteAnya
Yes, it's actually two pieces, a bodysuit and a skirt.
DeleteFleece and denim are common at this annual event, but I will say the younger Jordanian royals look extra casual with the untucked shirts and white shoes.
ReplyDeleteThe royal family looks casual and happy.
ReplyDeleteCasual dress. Not a bad look. css
