Queen Margrethe II arrived at Sonderborg Harbour in Graasten with the Royal yacht Dannebrog to spend her summer holiday. The visit takes place in connection with the change to the summer residence at Graasten Castle in Southern Jutland. Queen Margrethe was received by the Mayor of Sonderborg, Erik Lauritzen. Graasten Palace is one of the summer residences of the Danish Royal family, but the park is also open to the public.
Rose
DeleteInteresting details, great stuff, thanks Tulipe :-)
DeleteDear Tulipe33.
DeleteThank you for the information.
How lucky you are to live in such a beautiful and rich region in France.
If by chance you have a spare bottle or two of Château d'Yquem in your wine cupboard/cellar, I’d be happy to pay for the postage and transport to send them on to me.
Usually, the three sisters, that is, Queen Margrethe, Queen Anne-Marie of Greece and Princess Benedikte (the Queen of Class) have a summer reunion at the Chateau in France.
I hope they can, this year, get together for this traditional family occasion.
Some information on the Château can be found via ……

Pretty repeat pink ensemble that is beautifully tailored.I especially love her hat. HM looks lovely!

I'm simply mad about Queen Daisy.
ReplyDeleteLovely on every occasion.
Her rosebud ensemble is splendid.
Keep ut up, Your Majesty!
Me too!
DeleteLovely outfit in a lovely and very becoming color. Hat and handbag perfection. She usually wears her daisy broach but this seems to be a new one.
ReplyDeleteLadyofthemanor
FYI Porcelain brooch by Arje Griegst. She has worn it before with this same outfit a few years ago. Thank you for always having such well worded comments.
DeleteI haven’t noticed this brooch until now you call out its context. Cheers for that ! I really like her daisy brooch she carried from the time of her wedding dress.
DeleteLove the simple style of the outfit and Her Majesty looks marvelous in this shade of pink.
ReplyDeleteAgree 😉
DeleteSuz
Agree 100%
DeleteThis is a beautiful color on the Queen. She looks great! And I love her brooch. My one nitpick is that her dress seems slightly too big for her. You can see where it gapes on her collarbone under her jacket. But that might be to accommodate some backbrace or other supportive undergarment. Whatever the issue, her bright smile makes up for it. :)
ReplyDeleteI think she has lost some weight in the time of the operation
DeleteIch finde Margarethe ist in letzter Zeit immer sehr chic gekleidet, viel schöner als früher. Neue Stylistin?
ReplyDelete... oder Tipps von ihrer Schwester Benedikte?
Deletelovely Queen in pink, she enjoys her summers on her boat.
ReplyDeleteJe trouve la Reine Margrethe très élégante dans cet ensemble monochrome rose pâle, c'est une couleur qui lui sied bien.

👍
DeleteWhat a very pretty colour, so soft and feminine!
ReplyDeleteA lovely summery look for Queen Margrethe. Very elegant.
ReplyDeleteThis is an outstanding look for her.
ReplyDeleteTrue!
DeleteThe Queen looks great in all light pink for this summer event. Feels like a more quiet color than her standards and I think it works. She’s a wonder to be so active after spine surgery earlier this year…good for her!
ReplyDeleteThe Queen looks lovely in pink. It is such a pleasure to see her out and about. css
ReplyDeleteA gorgeous Lady. May she stay happy and healthy.
ReplyDeleteThe Danish Queen in all her summer glory. Hope she has a wonderful time at her holiday retreat for the summer.
ReplyDeleteYes, for me too an unexpected colour and a very classic style, I would expect Benedikte wearing something like this - but she looks simply wonderful. (GM)
ReplyDeleteWow to the Queen with this cheerful look, the pastel pink ensemble is a nice and youthful summery touch.
ReplyDeleteThis really is a very pretty ensemble, the fit is perfect, love the design of this outfit. The pink color is sublime. Love the addition of her sweet brooch, she looks well and happy. Fabulous!
ReplyDeleteYes, indeed Ava "Fabulous".
DeleteThe people of Her Majesty can be very proud of her.
Hello, Ava and Deadeggs.
DeleteYes, the people of Her Majesty are really proud of her and the signs of their affection can be easily found everywhere in Denmark.
Just to make an example:streets are characterized by signs featuring a daisy.
The bond of mutual affection Is less visibile in Greenland.
Unfortunately , the recent tensions inside the family due to her choice to strip Prince Joachim's children of their former titles have raised a wave of disappointment in the Danish as well
* My typo= the Danes
DeleteI really like the ensamble, e details such as e brouch and the lipstick, all works perfectly together, plus she like radiant.
ReplyDeleteLuna
She looks so lovely; and pretty; The Queen radiates joy (Tara)
ReplyDeleteAgree completely with you 😉
DeleteDear Deadeggs
ReplyDeleteIt is not true that the Queen meets with her sisters and other family members
in France. It is in Gråsten in Denmark. The Queen is usually in France in
August.
Thanks for the information @Anon17:23.
DeleteI'd always thought it was at the Château in France.
No matter where it is, I hope they can get together for the occasion.
There is a little difference now, the three sisters are all widowed
