Such beautiful young women, dressed colorfully and age-appropriately. No cringey posing or hair flipping, just pleasant, natural and interested in their event.

In the first picture Leonor looks like Princess Elisabeth of Belgium. Both sisters are quite lovely and seem to be great support to each other.

I prefer the Infanta Sophia's outfit in that it is youthful and summery, even though the fit is not quite right for her. Princess Leonora's dress seems to be for someone much older and I also don't like the fit of it either (sleeves and dress length). In fact in the group photo third from the bottom, she looks like any of the other ladies in the group, many who are decades older than her. She doesn't look 17yo. This is a missed opportunity to wear some lovely summery outfits for a teenager who will be 18yo in October.

Lovely seeing the sisters out & about together! Fashion-wise, I prefer the red jumpsuit, but I think both choices reflect the personality of their respective wearer. Well done!

Both Infantas are dressed impeccably, as usual. But Sofia's posture is abysmal. I'm sure both young ladies grew up taking ballet classes, but it doesn't show here. Much like Charlotte Casiraghi.

Only Sofía is an Infanta, Leonor is a Princess, because she is the heir.

Yes, agreed that the Infanta's posture is very bad. As another poster mentioned, perhaps she is self-conscious about her height at such a young age, but unless there's a medical issue the posture is very, very slumped and very strange.

Does Charlotte Casiraghi have bad posture? I will have to pay more attention.

What perfectly colorful and age appropriate outfits! It is hard to dress at this age in attire that is pleasing to teens and adults, and they have done it! Lovely to see them.

Not a fashion comment, but please allow me, a decade ago I was the interpreter of Ferran Adriá, he is such a pleasant person, very passionate about his job, had great ideas and talent. Back then he was presenting, the elBulli1846 exhibition space, it was all a big dream, now a reality, would love to visit it.
The sisters are nicely dressed, fun colors and although I don't particularly love either of the outfits, I think they are learning to choose with great example as both their parents have excellent taste.

They are both lovely. But I don't like Leonor's dress. It is pinched together under the breast and has cutouts - but then, downwards, it stops having any design, it is simply shapeless. Not a wide skirt, not a slim skirt, just fabric falling down. It would be shapeless on a woman of any age.

Age appropriate? No, just two garments that are ill fitting, along with their standard espadrilles during the summer. The young women should take note of their posture, stand straight and try to look a little more engaged in what they are supposed to be interested in doing at this occasion. Gemma

Espadrilles were invented in Spain and theirs are produced in Spain, so by wearing them they are promoting a Spanish product. Also quite frankly espadrilles are a lot more comfortable than the sky high thin heels that most of the royal ladies seem to wear.
None of the other European royal teenagers are doing this many engagements, it is a lot for a 16 and a 17-year-old to be sent out on official business by themselves.

    3. I thoroughly disagree with Gemma's comment, can only agree on some posture problem for Sofia right now.

I look forward to the moment the Infanta is less self-conscious about her tallness - which is wonderful. She's a teenager. We tend forget that.

Yes indeed. She is perhaps not comfortable with her tallness and that reflects in her posture. But what lovely young women and a credit to their parents.

Both lovely outfits, if the sleeves of Lenores outfit were 3/4 showing the forearm it would make a big difference. The high slit on the side is youthful.

Lovely young ladies wearing pretty outfits that suit their own tastes--and the types of clothes I see on girls their age where I live at events/places that require a bit more dressy look. I think Leonore is expected (probably by the public or maybe its a personal thing) to be a bit more conservative than her sister as she is the heir; therefore, her clothing choices might appear a bit more mature. One of the things I love seeing is how supportive the sisters are of each other.

She dresses conservatively? The Maje dress she wore soon after to the FPdGI Awards would suggest anything but.

  19. Lovely outing of the sisters. However, Princess Leonor's dress might be just a tad too long. No complaints other than that.

Nice color of both outfits. Both do not have the Wow effect. I also think both outfits would have looked better with flats.? Maybe it is just me, but I feel Letizia don't want to be upstaged, so less elegant fashions for her daughters. Maybe I am wrong I really hope so. css
