Prince Albert II, Princess Caroline and Charlotte Casiraghi attended the 2nd edition of the Dance festival (F(ê)aites de la Danse 2023) held at the Casino Square in Monaco. The festival involves tango, swing jazz, ballet, waltz and salsa, and professional and amateur dancers come together to share a unique moment.
The festival was established by Les Ballets de Monte-Carlo’s director, Jean-Christophe Maillot. The event brought together more than 250 dancers from all over the world for 24 hours, who transformed the Casino Square into a gigantic open-air dance floor.

Let's see how many of you will mention pj's... :)
ReplyDeleteAna Katarina
The outfit is hideous!!!
DeleteHa ha … count me in for pj’s ;-)
DeletePJs! |Melanie|
DeleteOMG ... I love this summer-ensemble on Princess Carolin ... and her smile(s) and support for her brother makes it even better ... thumbs up from me ...
ReplyDeleteWhat a very wonderful event! Being a passionate dancer myself, I would love to have taken part!
ReplyDeleteWhilst I like the color and pattern of Caroline's outfit it kind of comes across as an expensive pair of pyjamas.
ReplyDeleteI am the first to make a comment so will be interested in reading what other people think.
Oh i agree with you Cate! Not fan of her outfit, comes as odd for me.
DeleteIn photo #2 - the look on Caroline's face when she realizes she forgot to change out of her PJs. |Melanie|
DeleteTotally agree. I liked the top of the outfit in the first couple of pics and then saw the full horror of the baggy pyjamas/clown trousers.
DeleteTrès belle combinaison que cette blouse imprimée sur ce pantalon que je trouve quand même un peu trop long mais c'est une tenue très estivale !
ReplyDeleteSo sad to see Caroline looking so horrible with that gray gray! She is beautiful, but the gray hair is not for her. She looks like she had given up in life.
ReplyDeletePlease stop making thes comments!
DeleteHmm … sorry to say i disagree a bit with you on the ´give up in life when people let the natural process of nature take place. I think this is just showing the confidence she has. There is no shame showing genuine hair, e.g grey hair. Actually fair play to her being comfortable with aging. She is aging well.

Horrible seems a bit harsh.though I agree the grey hair in her usual style is unflattering. However, when she has worn it in an updo, as in the first pic here, I can see it as more elegant and classy. Her smile remains lovely.
DeletePlease stop criticizing and judging Princess Caroline for letting her hair go gray. Like Caroline, I have dark hair and keeping up with the color became too much of a chore (and for me, expense). Within a week of getting my color done I had gray roots showing through. I would imagine Caroline had the same issues and, like me, just said, enough. She is marvelous for accepting Mother Nature's normal process and is not prematurely gray at 66.

It's a cute look but the pants may be a bit too long. Kim
ReplyDeleteCaroline’s outfit is hideous!!!
ReplyDeleteCaroline under dresses. She does not like to draw attention to herself.
ReplyDeletePyjamas.
ReplyDeleteNext please.
😂👍
DeleteWhere is hubby - in his ps? Have a look and learn something of fashion, style and elegance. You are from the US of A, right? But you can manage even though. Just give it a try. And: please no next stupid comment. Thank you Siv.
DeleteCaroline under dresses. Marianne
ReplyDeleteCertainly not lovelier than GD Maria Teresa's outfit of pant and blouse. But Caroline will probably receive better comments. The other people (men and women) on the pictures are a mix of weird outfits.
ReplyDeleteRead the article please. It is a dancing-event! The costumes are meant for the Dancefloor!
DeleteI LOVE this outfit! Caroline looks fabulous here, very elegant--I especially like the photos where she is wearing her hair pulled up or back because it very much softens her face and shows what a beautiful woman she is. I think she is wearing flat sandals instead of heels--which could explain why the trousers are a bit too long (a tailoring issue Caroline rarely makes). Nice photo with Charlotte in the group too--I like her in that bright orange sherbert color.
ReplyDeleteJanet
There was a chance of saving the top, but with those trousers, definitely pj's.
ReplyDeleteFun anecdote: in China is very common for the elderly, and not so elder to keep the PJs all day long. When the country was preparing for hosting the 2008 Olympics, the government initiated a campaign asking people NOT to wear pj's in public. Probably Monaco could follow suit
Ana Katarina, what's the results?
Luna
Love the story about pj's in China. It does make sense, after all, pj's are the most comfortable outfit to wear. :D
DeleteAna Katarina
I don't like this outfit at all. It looks like Pj's. The pants are very long, dragging on the ground. I don't like the pattern of the fabric. Not an elegant look.
ReplyDeleteNot the best look for Caroline. She could have done better; this looks like something to wear around the house. css
ReplyDeleteI love Caroline’s outfit. I think it is very modern and it really suits her.
ReplyDeleteWhile, I love that Caroline is embracing getting older and is obviously very comfortable doing so, unfortunately, I think that hair colour doesn’t suit her, but, as her hair is naturally grey I think
we should either make no comment or commend her on her natural colour as by having her hair her natural colour, she doing so much for women. There is too much pressure for women to look false, by not aging naturally. Maybe, if we were used to looking at aging women with their natural hair colour, we might like Caroline’s hair.
There are plenty of women in the public eye with grey hair but it is styled to flatter them. Princess Benedikte is the most obvious example but also the Duchess of Gloucester and Princess Alexandra in the UK. Christine Lagrand, chairman of the European bank has bias grey hair for many years and always looks stylish and elegant. Hair colour is not ageing any of them as it is Princess Caroline
DeleteThe color of Caroline's pant suit is washing her out. Rose
ReplyDeleteUn très beau pyjama
ReplyDeleteFroufrou
😂😂
DeleteGli uomini possono sfrutare del grigio e le donne, nò? Che poposizione sciovinista che sarà superata ...
