This week King Charles and Queen Camilla and other members of the Royal Family are in Scotland for the annual ‘Royal Week’, also known as ‘Holyrood Week’. On July 6, The King and Queen visited The great Tapestry of Scotland visitor centre in Galashiels. The King and Queen then visited Lochcarron of Scotland at the Waverley textile mill in Selkirk. Selkirk is a town and historic royal burgh in the Scottish Borders council district of Scotland.
A two-piece in a good length, and without a collar (collars on dresses tend to shorten the neck and the neck tends to shorten with age anyway), at last Would be nice to see more of this type. Lovely!

Agree. Nice outfit in a flattering style and colour, I wish she had chosen shoes that matched the dress better

Good to see Camilla in a different kind of outfit. I think she looks good.
ReplyDeleteRavie de voir que Camilla a ressorti de son dressing cet ensemble bleu pâle dont la veste aux larges bords festonnés ; les chaussures beige complètent agréablement son look !
ReplyDeleteHM the queen looks great.
ReplyDeleteI think Q.C. looks wonderful here. I love the soft blue suit with the scalloped edged jacket. It adds just the right amount of interest to an otherwise simple suit. I also really like her tousled hair. There’s a relaxed elegance about this whole look that suits her very well. (V.M.)
ReplyDeleteThe best part of this suit is the skirt: It falls very nicely and doesn't have any creases. I don't like the sleeve edges though. It's like a child or someone had at it with a pair of scissors. But I do like the overall look of this suit on Camilla. It is unfussy, relaxed, and does the job for a non-formal daytime commitment. She seems comfortable in it too.

I am the first to admit that I don't like Camilla's style. Here is the exception. This suit is my idea of what she should be wearing, not the house coats that she passes off as dresses.
ReplyDeleteQueen Camilla looks very good in this ensemble !!
ReplyDeleteLovely. My only critique is her undergarment and the way the fabric drapes over her bosom. There is something not attractive of that look
ReplyDeleteThis is true. Her bra is not doing the job.
DeleteLove Camilla's suit! Beautiful color, cut, and the details on the jacket add an elegant touch. She looks lovely--maybe she will wear more suits in the future. I would also like to say that I love that Charles wears kilts in Scotland--he always looks wonderful. I really wish that tradition would continue with William and his sons but I think Charles might be the end of that tradition in the BRF.

Love love love that beautiful suit on the Queen! Lovely color, perfect length, interesting details…more of the same please!!
ReplyDeleteThis is more befitting for a Queen. I love this suit on Camilla and the colour perfect for her. Please no more dowdy house dresses. Take note stylist.
ReplyDeleteThis two piece suit looks fabulous, a little different style to what she normally wears, very becoming, elegant. Lovely color. The beige shoes look good.
ReplyDeleteAt last, Camilla has backed a winner (using Ascot vocabulary)
ReplyDeleteIf I stand back a bit and take a long look at the design, I get “Angela Kelly vibes (Queen Elizabeth’s personal dressmaker).
Re, the shoes. At last our voices have been heard .
The right shoes for the job. HA LA LU YA.
beautiful deux pieces, but Camilla is always beautiful dressed.
ReplyDelete?? 🧐
Deletecamilla is always beautiful dresses, outfits are very nice always
ReplyDeleteCamilla in a queen’s outfit: quite good!
ReplyDeleteShoes with a subtle little heel, bravo ,
Mabel
FINALLY an outfit that is not zippered, nor looks like an ordinary house-dress, or something that is boring. The suit looks well made, the shoes are not those ugly soled things she's been clomping around in and the colour seems to suit her.
ReplyDeleteVer nice outfit and the color is good too. css
ReplyDeleteMore of this please! The two pieces, interesting cuffs, no zipper in front, nice color, all add up to a fresh new look.
ReplyDeleteAgree Caune.
DeleteBut whilst we are in the mode of horse racing, Ascot etc.
I'd put my money on those boots making a comeback.
I remember one of our bloggers saying "those boots aren't going to give up without a good fight".
I’ve got a dotty old aunt who loves a glass or two and gambling.
She often blows her pension cheque on the horses.
I’m going to tell her to put her money on the boots.😁
How much nicer does she look in a suit.Selkirk is such a lovely town;I stayed at the Glen Hotel;so scothish,I had Haggis shepards pie;also the people there are so friendly.(Tara)
