On June 10, the 4th Meeting of Historical Sites of the Grimaldis took place at the Prince's Palace of Monaco. The event was organized by The Federation of the Grimaldi of Monaco Historical Sites that was founded and chaired by Prince Albert II under Monegasque Law.
Each site invited to the event highlighted its historic links with the Principality, and made a presentation about its region and its cultural heritage.
Prince Albert, Princess Charlene, Prince Jacques, Princess Gabriella, Princess Caroline and Princess Stephanie attended the event. Nearly 150 sites in France and Italy maintain links, woven over the centuries, with the Grimaldi Family. For this 4th edition, 6 French departments were honoured with the participation of their 11 municipalities. These municipalities were former strongholds of the Grimaldis.
Wow Princess Caroline looks really nice here, as does Princess Gabriella.

Caroline does it right every time, very glamorous. Stephanie gave up. Charlene's baggy pants are not flattering, they make her look even more bigger!
DeleteAgree and have to admit: Personally I think Princess Charlene is looking very beautiful here, though she is a class of her own in the very best sense. Hope they all get along with each other.

ReplyDeleteThese are called ultra-wide legged trousers, but in reality, this is the good old trouser skirt re-born again, we had them sooo many years ago and I flike them, nice slim around the waist. Not a fan of the colour though, yes for the pants, no for the shirt.

I like Charlene’s new hair color very much. It also seems softer as if she’s letting it grow out a little. The deeper tones of green in the shorts and trousers are flattering.
ReplyDeleteThis is my favourite Charlène look in a long, long time! Is it perfect? No. Does she look smashing? YES! The colours look great on her and go well with the new hair. The stripes are clean and simple and the belt adds a bit of definition. Hope to see more like this in the future!
ReplyDeleteCaroline looks fantast, too. She just exudes elegance, regardless of what she wears!

On point, well said.
DeleteStrange trousers. On the photo with Jaques Charlene looks like a giant with a too small head.
ReplyDeleteCompletely agree
DeleteI agree
DeleteCharlene looks fabulous here--for once I am not going to complain about the wide leg of her trousers because they are designed to be almost like a maxi skirt. Gabriella's dress is summery and perfect for a little girl. As for Caroline--l LOVE her dress!!! Summertime perfection that looks marvelous on her. She's definitely my fashion winner for this event. I also think this same dress would be perfect on Charlene--would love to see her give this type of a style a try.

Nice family gathering; I definitely like Charlene's trousers (I have almost the same just a bit less wide-legged, for once...)
ReplyDeleteChaque image ici de la famille est belle et povitive. Tous sont bien habillés et semblent apprécier l'événement.
ReplyDeleteI don´t like anything P Charlene is wearing. Not the colour nor the fit and not the wide belt. Caroline's dress is beautiful

Is it not funny - how men come along in their suits or pants and jackets and they can look dapper or not so dapper - they get approval or not so much for maybe the colours or their shoes but not really for their "given", I mean: for their bodily characteristics. It's only us women that have the privilege to be told (mostly by other women :-)) that we are too small, too tall, too broad, too wide, too thin, too ... whatever for the outfit we chose to wear.

DeleteYou know, I heard someone say one day “life sucks”
I’ve never quite known what it means.
But could it apply to what you’re talking about?😁

I like Charlene's blouse. The pant is just a wee to wide but she looks great anyway, Caroline's dress is lovely. The twins look so cutre. css
ReplyDeleteJ'aime beaucoup le pantalon de Charlene.
ReplyDeleteJ'ai acheté le même.
Gabriella est joliment vêtue de la tête aux pieds.
La robe de Caoline est très belle.
I have yet to see Charlene in anything flattering for her. Why is that?
ReplyDeleteProbably because you have different style preferences than she does, and that’s ok. She might not like what we wear either eh!
DeleteBecause Charlene has another concept of elegance and attractiveness than yours. Maybe a question of generation.
DeletePrincess Gabriella is gorgeous. What a perfect summer outfit for a little girl. Prince Jacques also looking good. I like Princess Charlene's outfit, although it is not especially summery. Colours and styles look great on her.
ReplyDeletePss Charlene looks well groomed, lovely, but I am not a fan of this outfit. The ultra wide trousers are not attractive to me, but that is my personal taste, its fashionable and I am obviously old fashioned! The blouse is quite nice. Its lovely to see her looking well and engaging.
ReplyDeletePss Caroline's dress is fabulous, very summery and feminine, she looks lovely. Gabriella's dress is perfect for her.
Not sure about Pss Stephanie's outfit, hard to tell she is sitting down.
Hello, Ava
DeleteThat's the kind of gentle, exaustive, calm and classy comment I like most.
Totally agreed.
You know, I'm a fashion addict but I agree with you about Pss Charlene in this case.
She looks beautiful irrispective of her outfit.
Gorgeous kids.
Hugs for you👋
Charlene’s trousers are palazzo pants done in a casual fabric. Imo a conventional a-line or pencil skirt would have been more suitable and attractive. Caroline’s dress is lovely — I wish she always looked this wonderful. (Just a thought — when have we ever seen Charlene in just a nice (gasp) dress?) — Jane
ReplyDeletePrincess Charlene looks great in the good old tried and tested trouser-skirt.
ReplyDeleteThey combine well with the shirt.
However the colours, to me, are a bit heavy for a summer, outdoor event.
They are colours that would draw in the heat.
The red printed summer dress worn by Princess Caroline looks perfect for the occasion/climat.
Princess Stephanie looks as if she isn't interested in “the winner is”.
From what I can see, Princess Stephanie is wearing white trainers, white slacks and a blue shirt top.
Little Miss Gabriella looks smart in her Ralph Lauren smocked dress.
Looks like mum and daughter did their shopping in the local Ralph Lauren boutique.
Prince Jacques is going to get more and more handsome as he’s certainly inherited the “Wittstock” good looks.
There is something very masculine about Charlene’s outfit, which I find unflattering. However, I can see that she has put on some weight, certainly a good sign. Caroline’s dress is very summery and dainty.

I like P. Charlene’s striped shirt, but would prefer to see it with slimmer white trousers for a more summery look. The dark, wide and flowy trousers worn with the dark belt seem too heavy for the season.
ReplyDeleteP. Caroline looks wonderful - the dress is flattering and fits her well. (V.M.)
Hope Prince Albert and Princess Charlene raise their children equally in these times and we will read that both are allowed to attend a world college.
ReplyDeleteIt is not of our concern how their children are raised. Money will not be a problem. Like any child even with the best education it will be themselves who will have to use the possibilities they will get and make the best of it. Parents can help them but cannot do it for them.
DeleteRaise their children equally? Albert has four children. But the youngest of them (male, born by his wife, not by a girlfriend) will be the new Monaco-Leader one day.
DeleteIf Queen Mathilde wears such a wide belt you call her high waisted and therefore it is not a good idea to wear wide belts. It looks like Princess Charlene is rather high waisted too or is it just the wide belt or the whole outfit that make her look like that ?
ReplyDeleteCharlene is edgy in this cool outfit. I like that we have ladies who step out of the princess fashion. It gets so boring seeing them all in the same. So thanks to Charlene, Max, Maria Teresa and Mette-Marit for daring.
