This is the season for shirt dresses, isn't it? Here we have one more example of the style - this time with some variation on the sleeves, a fuller skirt, and a somewhat longer length. It looks lovely, is worn by the right person to give it its due, and the light colour makes it suitable for warm weather.
I DO like the belt that Rania has chosen; it gives the outfit some focus at the waist, and looks like it is a cultural piece of handwork, which makes me like her choice even more.

  2. Très rafraîchissante cette robe chemisier en coton boutonnée jusqu'à la taille ; à mon humble avis, je l'aurais bien vue non ceinturée tout en portant des chaussures blanches comme par le mannequin !

  3. The dress is not my favorite; I have the feeling I am no longer a real fan of shirt dresses, at least not with the length we see.

She looks lovely, perfect for this occassion. What always strikes me is however, that she is the only woman in this photo, who does not wear any kind of hair-covering. All other women do. All men don't. Am puzzled, how the Queen sets such a fabulous, respectful example in her way of dressing, but so many women in her country don't follow that.

It's their choice. Is there anything disrespectful about that or hair covering?

Another elevated shirtwaist dress! The style is elevated by the design of the sleeves, the soft draping of the fabric in the skirt, and the length. Rania looks marvelous and her choice of belt adds the last touch style to make this simple dress more elegant.

  6. This is a pretty colored dress, and looks fabulous, love the belt. The skirt particularly looks great on movement. The darker blue shoes are gorgeous a color.

The article is about outstanding achievements in education, not about clothing.

There is too much fabric in this shirt dress. I don't like the sleeves nor the length, but I can understand that she cannot wear shorter dresses because she has to respect certain rules.
I've always heard that in Jordan women has the choice to follow the traditional way or the more western way of clothing. In the first picture one can see several women with western clothes.
