Princess Beatrice hosted a charity lunch in Huddersfield for the benefit of Forget Me Not Children's Hospice, of which she is patron. The Hospice supports children with life-shortening conditions, their families and families living with the loss of their child.
Jasper Conran Blythe Full Skirt Shirt Midi Dress
Zara Maxi Bomber Jacket
Bea did not need the bomber jacket. It looks awkward with the sleeves pulled up above the dress sleeves. Dress is cute on its own, or with a trim cardigan or classic blazer.

The dress is very nice and the flats are a good choice. Such a pity she covered it with the bomber jacket. In my view the do not go together at all.

I agree…I’d love to see the dress worn without the jacket. It adds nothing to the overall look. (V.M.)
DeleteLovely shoes. Everything else is slightly chaotic, as if she was too late and picked items randomly and even forgot a comb to run through her hair in the car.
ReplyDeleteGM
That jacket looks awkward over her shirtdress.

the last photo thou!
DeleteI think the outfit would have looked better without the jacket. If she needed a cover-up, then something smaller like a shrug, or lighter like a short, smart cashmere cardi would have been better, in tan or some other complementary colour to the dress (white is too stark). I also prefer the darker colour of the dress as in the first photo.

Always like to see Princess Beatrice at engagements like this. Not a fan of shoes or jacket but like the dress

ReplyDeleteAgree with most comments. Great dress, awful jacket.

Like the dress and shoes but the jacket is a no. If she was chilly she should have chosen a blazer style jacket--the bulk and sleeves of a bomber jacket just don't work here. Glad to see her out and about though.
ReplyDeleteJanet
Such a pity she wears this bomber jacket over the nice dress.
ReplyDeleteWas she afraid it would be to classic for her age?
Love it that she, like her mom, prefers flat shoes!
Mabel
I actually like the bold outfit on her! She can pull it off. But…what has happened to her hair…? A comb could not help her, it looks thin and need perhaps a cut.

Forgot to brush her hair, jacket looks very odd with the long sleeved dress. All I can say about the man's 'back comb-over' is ... well, I wont say anything. Jessica
ReplyDeleteShe puts hair extensions, does she
ReplyDeleteSadly, what a mess of an outfit. The dress without the jacket would have been a much better look. However, Beatrice forgot to brush her hair, or hair extensions, and ruined an already odd outfit.
ReplyDeleteI don't like the jacket at all.
ReplyDeleteThe dress is a no. The stripes, of the fabric are not attractive to me. The dress overall is not appealing.
hot mess alert, but the shoes are cute. she looks like she rolled out of bed and went straight to the event. good grief, this is awful
ReplyDeleteThis was not only a bad hair day, but a bad everything day. Dress, hair makeup. This is rather odd, since she is usually very much into details and is always impeccable. So let’s just forget about this look shall we..
ReplyDeleteShe needs to cut her hair. Everyone's wearing their hair too long but at least Catherine's is impeccable.
ReplyDeleteAll three pieces are good but I’m not sure they work together on a petit frame. The dress length and bulky design needs a higher heel to balance it out.
ReplyDeleteNice dress, maybe the jacket open would have been better maybe? Only thing a bad hair day. Oh well she maybe was in a hurry to get there on time. css
