On June 27, Princess Anne attended the opening ceremony of the CHIO Equestrian Festival in Aachen, Germany. Britain became this year's partner country of the most important horse festival of the world about international jumping, dressage, four-in hand driving and vaulting. Princess Anne is an expert horsewoman. In 1971, she won the individual European Three-Day Event at Burghley and was nominated Sportswoman of the Year.

    Unexciting but serviceable outfit. Very typical of the Princess Royal. I believe she recently came out top of a poll for favourite UK royal and no wonder. She’s just great. 😍

    I am surprised to see the Princess Royal wearing a simple and classic outfit, usually she looks dowdy and old fashioned, not bad, perfect for the occasion. My only negative comment, is her hair, she badly needs a new hair style, she would look so much better.
