On June 17, 2023, Prince Albert and Princess Charlene of Monaco held a reception in the court of the Prince's Palace for the purpose of meeting with and congratulating AS Monaco basketball team players and staff, who won the trophy of the French Elite Basketball Championship. Crown Prince Jacques was also present at the reception. AS Monaco Basket won one EuroCup title in 2021, one French Cup in 2023, and three Leaders Cups.

Charlene looks good here—her hair is growing out a bit and looks softer. I like the warm brown color. She can pull off pleated pants with her tall and slim figure. She and Jacques have a nice close rapport in these photos which is lovely.
ReplyDeletePetit changement dans la coiffure tant au niveau de la couleur légèrement plus claire que de la coupe ; sa silhouette supporte à merveille l'association de ce top et du pantalon à larges plis de chez Armani !
ReplyDeleteLoved Charlene's outfit until I saw the hem of the trousers--no, no, no. Still, even that one detail I don't like, she looks terrific. I love her darker, longer hair--its very soft and pretty.

In theory I don't like the trousers tigthened at the ankle, but Charlene wears them so well that I am in admiration. She looks fantastic.
DeletePC looks good and healthy. Recently, she's worn more structured clothing, thankfully, so we can be spared all these asinine pregnancy speculations. Happens every time on this board when a royal woman wears loose clothing, even if it's designed that way. Amy
ReplyDeleteI love your comment! I feel the same way.
DeleteBravo, Amy. So true.

I agree, Amy.
DeleteI like it. The clean lines suit her well and with the "new" hair, there's finally a bit of contrast. I wish the trousers didn't have this odd balloon hem, but were just straight OR properly tapered. Also maybe a tiny pop of colour - a brooch, earrings, bag, nailpolish? But oh well. Baby steps!

Love Charlene's stylish look here. A strong, modern woman for the ages.

Ravissante comme d habitude. Belle famille princière

Nice combination and color. Do not like the narrowing, of the pants at the ankles. Nice to see her again css
ReplyDeleteThe pants are lovely, but the cuff hem I don't like. Her top looks great. Love the strappy shoes and heels. Her hair looks wonderful.
ReplyDeleteI agree. Her hair looks softer and she does look very well. Thank heavens she is not wearing those bulky clothes. When you have a figure like hers, it is really something to show off.
ReplyDeleteHas prince Albert really nothing else to wear but a navy jacket and red tie

DeleteI think he has more than one set of navy jacket and red tie. When you look at the picture of the group (last picture) you see more men with about the same outfit. Prince Albert is president of all the sports clubs in Monaco. Each time he has to hand over a medal or a trophy to the winning club he is dressed that way. A white shirt and a red tie remember the flag of Monaco white and red.
I’m sorry but I don’t like this outfit at all and certainly not on Charlene. The shirt gives her a ‘body/square ‘ shape. The colors don’t suit her skincolor at all. I haven’t seen her wearing anything really nice for some time…
ReplyDeleteIn fashion land this is the latest trend to finish pants at the ankles. Probably inspired on training pants like on the model. I prefer it the way it is done on Charlene's pants. I think the top like it is shown by the model gives a better contrast. Charlene's pants are light gray and the top is a kind of "greige" (a color between gray and beige).
ReplyDeleteSie sieht sehr cool aus!!! Bravo!!
ReplyDeleteCharlenr semble très contente et très belle....elle veux etre elle même...pas des problems,....la vrai First Lady de Monaco.
ReplyDeletePrincess Charlene has had to do a very difficult transformation from a simple life in Rhodesia, Africa to the bling-bling lifestyle of Monaco.
DeleteI think her husband has given her enormous help with the challenge.
