On June 3, 2023, Japan's Crown Prince Akishino and Crown Princess Kiko attended 34th "Midori-no-Aigo" greenery preservation ceremony in in Kitakyushu City, Fukuoka Prefecture. The Crown Prince and Crown Princess also visited the former Yasukawa residence at Katsuyama Park.
What a beautiful outfit on the Crown Princess - great tailoring, flattering colour, and nicely accessorized. I wish her husband would get a better haircut. Floppy hair parted in the middle suits no one. (V.M.)
ReplyDeleteI always wonder about the hair, maybe it is appreciated in Japan, none looks in the mirror thinking today i want to look as bad as possible. Could it be a cultural thing?

I’ve always thought it might be a “younger sibling rebellion” thing, where the kid brother wanted to establish his separate identity (not surprisingly, I’m a younger sibling 😂) Wasn’t his hair entirely prematurely grey for many years, though? I’m sure it was. Then suddenly it changed to youthful-looking black, which was pretty startling. He is a very good-looking man either way, imho. — Jane
DeleteIt is famous that my brother, Emperor Naruhito, is bald and wearing a wig. It's much better because Prince's tall and capable than that.
DeleteA beautifully tailored, well fitted suit. Love the color. Her accessories blend in well. Lovely outfit.
ReplyDeleteCrown Prince Fumihito and Princess Kiko visited the region to attend the 30th National Green Protection Ceremony, which is an official duty of the Crown Prince. It was a visit to a local company before that.
ReplyDeleteIt is interesting taking up this visit instead of the main event. We can see the main event and the beautiful outfit of Kiko here. She dressed elegantly and appropriately for the occasion.

The Royal Hashemite Court invited CP. Fumihito and CP. Kiko to Crown Prince Al Hussein's wedding, but they could not attend due to a schedule conflict with a regional visit.
The Royal Court announced the wedding date on 31/12/2022, and the ceremony's date announcement in Japan was 2/1/2023. The Green Protection Ceremonies often take place in May. This ceremony is under Japan's Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport. It will ring a bell with many Japanese. It is a ministry where the leader of a party founded by a religious organization has been a minister for generations.
According to reports, the CP. Fumihito consulted with Emperor Naruhito, and Emperor Naruhito decided to have the two lowest-ranking members attend the wedding.
When King Abdullah Ⅱ and his family visited Japan this spring, Emperor Naruhito only met them (and made them wear masks), did not hold a banquet or a luncheon, and sent the mismatched persons to attend the wedding ceremony for the successor to the throne.
A lowest-status princess, who had almost no experience with such international goodwill occasions, attended the wedding ceremony holding an owl-shaped bag. The website of BirdLife International, of which her mother is the Honorary President, states that in some Middle Eastern cultures, people believe owls are related to death and destruction and symbolize the souls of those who have died without revenge.
Not only this, but she also curtseyed to the bride's parents at the reception.
I am deeply disappointed that such things continue.
Princess Kiko and Princess Kako or other members of The Imperial Family would never have made such mistakes.
The Imperial Household Agency should prevent such things from happening in the future.
Following the garden party in May, speechless failures have continued in Japan's Imperial Household. The Director General of the Imperial Household Agency expressed his intention to improve the garden party, saying he has many things to reflect on.

DeleteThere are no such rules in Japan. As long as the dress code matches, there are no problems.
