Queen Maxima of the Netherlands concluded a three-day visit to Brazil in her capacity as the United Nations Secretary-General’s Special Advocate for Inclusive Finance for Development (UNSGSA). On Wednesday morning, Queen Maxima, along with Governor Neto, visited Escola Classe 312 Norte in Brasilia to learn more about a BCB financial education program, called Aprender Valor.
Natan Tunox Skirt
PRADA Gold tone and shell clip earrings
H uge earrings, bad hair, bad Natan clothing, make her look huge, with her new favorite shoes, big smile... Very Maxima.
ReplyDeleteLuna
Yes that’s her style 😂
DeleteI don’t think her earrings are quite big enough ;-) Oh, well, the outfit is serviceable for the event. He hair is always a challenge it seems. I wonder if it would improve if it was cut much shorter and styled.
ReplyDeleteNice look ruined by bad hair...
ReplyDeleteOnce again!
...Marie
Maxima is in Brazil to help people which much more important than her clothes
DeleteThis skirt is pretty, I like it. The blouse works in well and looks lovely. Not a fan of the shoes. Her bracelets are beautiful, though I prefer either one color of the other.
ReplyDeleteI agree on all points.
DeleteThe outfit is nice, simple and unfussy, the shoes are awful but most likely comfortable km
ReplyDeleteThe skirt and blouse look fine, but the accessories ruin the look for me. The shoes do not flatter her feet or her legs, and the earrings are so big they look clumsy. (V.M.)
ReplyDeleteCut it Queen Maxima! Nothing wrong with her hair that a good blunt cut wouldn’t help. Above the shoulders, preferably shorter. The better to show off the enormous earrings she is so fond of.
ReplyDeleteMrs Cleaver
Like the blouse. The style of the skirt makes her look much bigger than she is. Undecided about the shoes. Overall, certainly not one of her best looks
ReplyDeleteAnnieM
In fact I am undecided about the shoes as well; they are quite special can work in some cases. Here they are not too bad, according to me.
DeleteAgree, shirt is nice, the skirt does not put it at its best advantage as it makes her look bigger …
DeleteSeriously, does she look in a mirror before she presents herself to the 'public'. There is no style here and no real thought.
ReplyDelete😲🤔
DeleteJ’adore ses bracelets.
ReplyDeleteMáxima,
ReplyDeleteYo soy tu fan #1.

Oh no--I hate those shoes!!! Sorry for those who like them but I think they are ugly. Those earrings are best left for a beach trip or maybe a Caribbean visit (no, I don't like them as they are too big). I like the skirt and I like the blouse but not together--I might feel differently had she chosen a different pair of shoes. I think she could have had a bespoke outfit fashioned by Natan from the 2 examples of the outfit that would have looked great.
ReplyDeleteJanet
Ugly shoes for me as well. Reminds me of last decades shoes wear by elderly women. Ok sorry a bit harsh what’s i’m saying, but it ruins the modern look from waist and up!
DeleteNice blouse and skirt.
ReplyDeleteCould be very good without those awfull white shoes!
Mabel
Lol, yes … the shoes 🫣
ReplyDeleteAnother ugly fitting Natan, why??? bad look all around
ReplyDeleteThe shoes are beyond ugly, horrible I would call them. If she insists on wearing this ugly model, black would have been a lot better. However, there are plenty of comfortable nice shoes, but these are Natan, so she wears them.
ReplyDeleteElisabeth
You are all completely wrong informed about modern fashion for shoes. Just because you know they are from Natan you find them ugly. Natan does not make shoes, he buys them elsewhere and sell them in his shops. There are a lot of other brands that make similar shoes these days. Do you think everybody like to wear espadrilles or wedges ? The shoes which are worn by Queen Maxima are good leather sandals and are very on trend. I wonder in what countries do you all live that you seem to not be aware of up-to-date clothes, handbags, shoes, jewelry, etc...
DeleteYes Anon 13.01, I agree with you ! A lot biaised views on this blog and lack of information or mind-openess. Does not apply only to shoes or accessories.
DeleteDoesn't she look good?
ReplyDeleteNo, sometimes it's better to wear a wig.
Yes because I've got used to see her in Natan.
Her blouse is very nice and adds some colour ha.
But Natan sometimes better should stick to interior fabrics and making curtains. If it's not linen or cotton it will be a sweaty affair.
The earlobes have to cope with a lot of weightlifting.
But I like them on a warm day, gives it a holiday-feeling.
The shoes like they are comfortable.
-Anna-
I for one like her shoes. They are very trendy at the moment, very comfortable according to one person I know who owns a similar pair, and I see these shoes being worn all over my city and in my work place building (financial district).
ReplyDeleteI like her skirt, but I like the dress on the far right of the model even more.
- Anon 9:13
The dress you like Anon 9:13 has been made in the past in other colors for Queen Maxima, Queen Mathilde and Princess Claire (of Belgium). Queen Mathilde have received bad critics on this blog for that dress. The other two maybe also but I can't remember that very well.
DeleteThanks Anon 16:26 I didn't know that others also had this dress. I wonder why Mathilde received negative criticism for it. It looks like a nice dress, but maybe not right for her shape since she is high-waisted? I don't know. Other than Mathilde, I think Maxima would look good in it.
Delete- Anon 9:13
Well, we know that Maxima tries to look different in her role as UN ambassador than when she is being Queen of the Netherlands, so...there's that. Otherwise? In general this is a "no".
ReplyDeleteI particularly love picture N° 7 where she walks hand in hand with the little girl. She may even wear the child's doll. No problem for Queen Maxima, she has always her hands full when she is on a trip like this : handbag, flowers, documents, now there is a doll too. She is acting so natural among those children. This is more valuable than the clothes she is wearing.
ReplyDeleteI like her jewelry. Her bracelets that she wear almost every day have symbolic value for her. The initials of her daughters names and hers or is it the "W" of Willem ? The bracelet with the different stones is also full of symbolism. I have been told that each stone is different and represent the birth of each of her daughters.
Shirt and skirt are OK, but very bad shoes!
ReplyDeleteI think Maxima is correctly dressed for an informal visit to a city in Brazil.
ReplyDeleteIf anything, her outfit is low-key when compared with Brazilian fashions.
She is playing it safe.
She is not in Europe and is perhaps trying to fit in with the Brazilian fashion scene.
