On June 27, 2023, Danish Queen Margrethe arrived at Aarhus Harbour with the Royal Yacht Dannebrog to stay at her summer residence Marselisborg Castle. Upon arrival, The Queen was welcomed by Mayor of Aarhus Jacob Bundsgaard. Marselisborg Castle is the royal residence of the Danish Royal Family, which is located in Aarhus.
As always, Q.Margarethe is looking smart and chic as she does every year on arrival at her summer residence.
ReplyDeleteI particularly like the deep, open neck, white shirt collar over the blue plaid blazer. It looks fresh and summery. Her smile visibly increases after her operation, and I'm sure that this summer stay will speeden her recovery.

ReplyDeleteShe's an absolute delight to look at evertime she's out and about. This reminds me of something my late great-grandmother would've worn (in a very good and sweet way - she always insisted on coordinating at least her shoes with her jacket or her jewellery with her hat, while sticking to classic cuts and designs). Hope she has a great summer!

Odd, walking with a cane one day on the left side, another day on the right side. Usually, people keep the cane on the same side, and leave a bag, purse, or flowers to the hand without the cane, so as to be careful and not trip or fall. When using a cane, carrying flowers or a bag with the same hand as the cane, it makes use of the cane difficult, as everything is banging into the cane, making it more likely the user will trip, fall, or stumble. Just an odd observation from a physical therapist point of view.
