On June 23, 2023, King Charles and Queen Camilla, The Prince and Princess of Wales, The Duchess of Edinburgh, Princess Michael of Kent, Princess Beatrice and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi attended the fourth day of Royal Ascot 2023 horse racing meeting held at Ascot Racecourse. The Prince and Princess of Wales presented the trophy to the winner of the Coronation Cup stakes. The Princess of Wales wore a red dress by Alexander McQueen.

ReplyDeleteThe dress and hat are soft and romantic, the earrings are boho chic. They do not go together. Such a shame because the dress and hat look great.
ReplyDeleteCatherine--stunning!!! Definitely the winner in the fashion stakes today--incredibly chic. Sophie and Bea--beautiful! Both have chosen dresses that look wonderful on them. Sophie's pink is a beautiful color on her and I really love her hat. Beatrice looks wonderful in a lacy floral frock--she needs softer, more feminine styles to really shine. Camilla--lovely with a fabulous hat. While her style has not varied too much this week, her big hats are back and she looks so great in them. Hope to see more great fashion tomorrow!

ReplyDeletePrincess Catherine looked very pretty, as usual, and I appreciate her playful earrings. She wears red very well; and her hat was a good match. I think Princess Beatrice looked absolutely stunning. Her floral dress with lace overlay is beautiful and very feminine. Her fascinator was perfect; small enough to reveal her pretty face. Her earrings were just right. Everyone seemed to enjoy the day. I love seeing all the gorgeous, sometimes outrageous, ensembles worn during Royal Ascot.

Catherine looks beautiful and very chic in this red dress and gorgeous hat, but her eye make up is too dark imo, it makes harsh.

Beatrice and Sophie are lovely. The colors on Beatrice are charming with her hair and coloring. Soft pink is perfect for Sophie. Kate’s very bright red dress and hat were unmissable. She stands out starkly in the crowd—there was no need to add garish earrings on top of it all and drag down the tone of the entire outfit.
ReplyDeleteAgreed. Kate’s earrings destroy the outfit for me as well. I also don’t think the orange lipstick suits her at all. Pink shades work better with her complexion.
DeleteSophie’s love if all things Suzanah is becoming boring. This dress isn’t her best choice. Same dress in mint green was worn by Carole Middleton at Prince Louis’ christening. Carole is 10 years older than Sophie.
Beatrice wins the day for me. Not trying to stand out and outshine anyone, classic and classy outfit. I like Edo with longer hair. Now he looks like Italian aristocrat. Which is who he is.

Catherine looks lovely. And maybe the earrings does not match the outfit, but this is Catherine. And she can pull it off. On day 3 Zara hit the ball out of the park with her lovely outfit. Everything from the dress, the hat, the colour and the cute handbag was perfection. The Tindalls are a super power couple.
ReplyDeleteThe Princess of Wales looks divine in this gorgeous red dress, which I like very much. I love the design, very feminine. The skirt has plenty of movement and swish. The sleeves are soft and elegant. Her hat is stunning, suits her well. The red accessories, shoe and clutch work well. Her up style hair is beautifully coiffured and styled. I don't like her earrings at all, they don't go with the outfit.

Sophie looks lovely in this shade of pink very pretty. I don't like her choice of jewellery.
The Queen's hat is beautiful, very stylish. Her pearl choker looked superb.
I was hoping to see some beautiful brooches, but not one in sight today.

Superbe dans cette couleur rouge qui la rend éblouissante mais au niveau des boucles d'oreilles, je ne sais pas si j'aurais choisi ce nouveau modèle ?! Je ne pense pas qu'il puisse compléter harmonieusement son look car elle n'avait que le choix dans son écrin à bijoux déjà bien rempli !

Everybody is really well dressed and these pictures are a joy to look at! My personal favourite is Beatrice. I think the florals and the airiness of the dress just scream Ascot. Catherine looks ravishing in red and she's definitely the (optical) centre of attention. Not entirely sure about the earring choice. They look very Bohemian compared to the rather classic dress. But that doesn't take away from her stunning overall look. Sophie continues to play it safe and Camilla wears her Camilla-uniform. Not groundbreaking, but it works.

Nothing to complain about here. They all look fabulous. The whole Royal Ascot week was quite a success on the fashion front with, perhaps, the exception of QC's outfit on the second day, which was made of individually lovely pieces, but not truly matching each other when put together.
ReplyDeleteI would prefer if Kate had a nice floral dress on the bold green's and red do not capture a particular style;the earring are gypsy style ;so the dress is bland .I like Beatrices dress;also the dress of the lady in the 9th and 10th photo.(Tabby)
