On May 24, 2023, Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel of Sweden attended celebration events of the 400th anniversary of the establishment of Rudbeckianska gymnasiet (Rudbeckianska High School) in Vasteras. Sweden’s first upper secondary school, Rudbeckianska gymnasiet, is centrally located next to the Cathedral in Vasteras. The school was founded by Bishop Johannes Rudbeckius in 1623.
Zara Tailored Buttoned Fuchsia Blazer
& Other Stories Pink Plisse Pleated Midi Skirt
Magnifiques couleurs flashy mais au niveau des chaussures, je ne suis vraiment fan de leur vert anis foncé !
ReplyDeleteThe colors of the outfit looks fabulous. Love the pink jacket. The green shoes, love!
ReplyDeleteThe jacket and the skirt are very nice individually, but together they make Victoria look far older than she is. I prefer the look where she is wearing the skirt with the white jacket. That look is fresh and stylish. The green shoes with the pink coat somehow clashes, but the shoes look good with the white jacket (and skirt). She should have repeated and stuck with that look.

Pink and green are a common color combination. I really like them together. If anything is ageing her (besides the unkempt bun) I would say it is the length of her skirt. It is too long.
DeleteAgree with Anon06:56, skirt too long and as usual her bun makes her look older.
Deletelove the close up photos of her nails and shoes...wonder why her nails are orange?
ReplyDeleteWas wondering the same thing. Must be a good reason…
DeleteBecause pink and orange are 2 colors that can be mixed according to the latest fashion.
DeleteI love this outfit today. She looks smashing so much better then yesterday. css
ReplyDeleteGreat happy ensemble that combines the color riot of a bursting Spring garden!
ReplyDeleteI like this outfit, everything goes well together - the shoes pull in the green from her skirt, same with jacket and nails. just fab.

I forgot to add, the only thing I wished she had done different is wear her hair down as opposed to in the ever present bun.

I think Victoria looks fabulous. The color of the jacket, the color of her blouse, and the color of her shoes coordinate beautifully with the skirt. Her orange nail color not so much. It's good to see Daniel by her side.
ReplyDeleteAgree that she looks fabulous.
DeleteNice to see Prince Daniel and as usual, he's wearing his "on duty" uniform.
I must be the only one, but i don't like the look, it seems to me that she got each piece from a different decade and put them all together

You're definitely not the only one!
DeleteI don't like this outfit for a crown princess. Theong string purse makes her look older. And the finger nails, oh my.
Victoria looks fabulous in this outfit--gorgeous spring colors and the bright pink is a great color for her. Love that she added the green shoes for a contrast from the pink jacket and her floral skirt. The white blouse was the perfect neutral among the bright colors--and it makes that bright pink jacket really pop.

The jacket is too long for the outfit makes it look disproportionate. The colours on the other hand is great together, but would it kill her to change her hair once in a blue moon.
ReplyDeleteI like everything except for the skirt. Too long and too much little flowers. I think we will see her and her sister this summer with their little flower dresses again. Maybe it is still fashion in Scandinavia (or Sweden) this summer. Victoria and Madeleine both had several dresses with little flowers as well as Sofia.
ReplyDeleteIs it a crime to like skirts and dresses with little flowers on? If so, I am guilty.
DeleteNo it is not a crime Coralie. But since this is a fashion blog I wish to draw the attention to the fact that little flowers are passé in the summer of 2023. Some big flowers and more geometric design or plain fabric is what we can see in the boutiques and fashion magazines. Also a mix of orange and pink is very up-to-date.

I like the colours, they look fresh and spring-like. I also like the pieces individually, but not together.
ReplyDeleteStyle-wise, I think the jacket and skirt clash, because the jacket is sleek business-attire whereas the skirt is floaty and casual.
Colour-wise, the jacket and skirt clash as well, because the blueish pink of the jacket is different from the overall more yellow-y pink hue of the skirt. Patterned items are tricky because from close-up, the individual colours are visible and it might seem a good idea to find a matching item or accessory that picks up that colour. But from afar, the colours of patterned fabrics tend to melt together into a different tone, as is the case here.
The green shoes look uncomfortable. I understand why she chose them, but then again, they fall victim to the same affect as - from afar - the green in the skirt is not visible and thus the green shoes look random rather than matching. The orange nails are just plain random no matter what.
There’s a reason for the long skirt, it’s flared so the longer the length, less exposure if it’s windy.
ReplyDeleteThe outfit is nice, however the orange nail polish is rather odd, especially with the colour of the jacket. Daniel is once again wearing a ring on his forefinger, wonder what the significance is of this ring.
ReplyDeleteHe's wearing on Oura ring https://ouraring.com/ invented by a Finnish company called Oura. It's tracking your activity levels and sleep./Grace
DeleteI’d like to see CPV move away from fast fashion brands and elevate her wardrobe a bit. She is such a hard working woman and a future Queen, but I don’t think her clothes do her justice. Just as an example, Q. Letitia often wears Hugo Boss, a brand with good tailoring at a decent price point. Surely there are similar brands in Sweden? (V.M.)
