The Consulate General of Sweden in New York held a reception in honor of Princess Madeleine of Sweden and the World Childhood Foundation USA. Swedish Princess Madeleine, deputy honorary chair of the World Childhood Foundation, was present at the reception. For more than two decades, the World Childhood Foundation, established by Queen Silvia of Sweden, has been working to protect the world's most vulnerable children from sexual abuse, exploitation and violence.
Self-Portrait Sleeveless Tailored Boucle and Chiffon Midi Dress
She looks beautiful - but let’s talk about the dress and shoes designs. Are we returning to the 80s? These white pointy shoes … this style of dress … Queen Letitia’s recent padded puffed sleeves?
ReplyDeleteNot all 80’s style is bad, she looks devine; love the style and shoes.
DeleteSimply gorgeous.

I agree, just lovely.

Sorry, no. She doesnot look like Madeleine anymore,
ReplyDeleteMabel
Yes she looks different. perhaps the photos are retouched, but then again she is getting older.
DeleteI agree, she looked like herself in the first photo, but the second and third photo was odd. The outfit, is way too fussy with details, the clutch too big and over detailed to go with the fussy skirt, and sleeveless jacket. Overall look, disappointing. She usually dresses quite well.
DeleteYou're right
DeleteSeems to be more than aging. She had "work" done a few years ago; I I hope she doesn't follow Silvia in that regard. Then there were the mask marks & some deep lines. She was so beautiful - please Madeleine don't mess with your beauty. |Melanie|

DeleteThe clutch is not too big that is how clutches are worn lately. They become bigger.
About Princess Madeleine : she is still very beautiful. Many people don't realize that with age everybody change. The art is to accept this and trying to live as healthy as possible. To me she looks very good : beautiful hair, natural make-up,
still a good shape.
People all age, but she had work done several years ago, and I hope she doesn't go as far as her Mum did, to look completely different. She is a beautiful woman, age gracefully, please.
DeleteGorgeous.
ReplyDeleteExquisite! Princess Madeleine looks fabulous. Her white two piece dress with matching accessories accentuates her lovely tan. Her makeup is modest, and her softly curled hair is nicely done.
ReplyDeleteYes, she looks great.

C'est toujours une belle jeune femme ; cette tenue lui va à merveille mais je ne suis pas pour ses chaussures qui, à mon avis- ne sont pas vraiment tendance. Je me répète mais j'ai hâte de la voir de retour en Suède cet été !
ReplyDeleteMadeline looks stunning! Just love this outfit. It suits her so well in style and fit.
ReplyDeleteAll the other ladies look very nice too.

It all looks very good until I scrolled down to the bottom of the picture. I don't like the lace. It looks as if her slip is showing, a no in the days we wore slips.

Along with Alexandra of Luxembourg, Madeleine is Europe's most beautiful "born" princess imho. She looks fabulous!
ReplyDeleteCatherine princess of Wales has almost the same outfit by Self Portret. But Catherine has it with long sleeves I think.
ReplyDeleteElegant as always. She does look a little different and in that third photo I would not recognize her. After she relocates from Florida to Sweden this August we will see more of her.
ReplyDeleteThis is a great looking outfit. Pss Madelaine wears it well. css
ReplyDeleteShe looks fabulous.
ReplyDeleteYes, agree @Ava Pittman.
DeleteWould love to know the reason why the family is leaving the Florida climate to return to the snow and long, hard winters of Sweden.
Too much of a cultural change to get used to ???
Who knows, deadeggs; but I for one prefer living in a climate with lovely cold dry winters & hot dry summers as opposed to the heat & humidity (which I left) of e.g. Florida all year long - it would be stifling. But to each his own. |Melanie|
DeleteMaybe they are concerned about the rising violence in the U.S. and other cultural issues. I don't know but I don't blame them. I would leave too if I could.
