Queen Camilla definitely has found her style!
The green dress is good, the white dress and hat exquisite and very flattering!

The first time since the coronation I see Camilla in a dress that suits her. The shoulders are not too broad this time and the turquoise color is a good choice. The cream coat on the contrary does nothing for her. The shoulders are too high (shoulder pads to thick) and the design should have been kept simple and plain. The shoes must be very comfortable that she wears them with everything. I wonder where the new beige summer shoes of last year are. They would be much more elegant with her clothes for this trip than the wedges.

I think Camilla is dressed beautiful for this occasion. Lovely to see her in green. Think she should wear in more often.

I like both Camilla's outfits. She also had a scarf and a raincoat for part of the time she was wearing the green dress but glad that she removed both. The green dress looks nice on its own.
I really like the cream and beige garden party ensemble; it is a smart outfit and I like the two-tone, harlequin effect. Camilla is back to her big hats which she does so well. Nice!

The green dress is imv a new model for Camilla.. Less wide without pleads. Very nice on her. The white ensemble gorgeous, elegant and regal

Absolutely love that green dress on her (and the way it matches the gate, lol). Very flattering.

Black gloves would have been better; those wedges are ugly with the beautiful coat/dress.

Given her visual history of footwear, I'd say it's very obvious that the poor lady has painful foot issues, which is totally normal for a woman of her age and her amount of working duty. Corns, bunions, fallen arches...who knows? I don't hold it against her at all to wear whatever she is comfortable with. Nothing worse than having to stand/walk for hours on end AND put on a smiling face amongst crowds of people while your feet are killing you.

The green outfit, gets a thumbs down. The white is slightly different and not too bad. Edwina

I like both outfits very much, but I think she could do better with her shoe choices…maybe a small blocked heel pump, or a low heeled Chanel sling back. The wedges look extremely casual, probably because of the thicker light coloured soles. (V.M.)

I love the green dress. What a great colour for Queen Camilla. I also like the stylishness of the white outfit. I wonder if anyone criticising the wedges has also criticised those wearing heels to garden parties on other occasions. 😀

Love both outfits! The green dress is beautifully tailored. How wonderful Camilla chose to wear one of the late Queen's emerald brooches--please keep on diving into that brooch vault, Camilla!!! The cream coat ensemble is perfection! So elegant yet very simple lines (just like the late Queen Elizabeth). And her hat is pure Camilla! I love her big hats--she can carry them off and look fabulous (I'm so envious).

  13. The turquoise color is a splendid shade. The outfit looks lovely. Her white outfit is well made, fits well and looks a wonderful ensemble. Love the pearl earrings and choker, a fabulous addition. Her hat is beautiful and suits her perfectly. I suspect the Queen may have some feet issues? comfort is the essential component, for standing long periods, walking etc.... can all become problematic if there are certain issues she is dealing with. If these shoes are comfortable and giving her comfort, I for one have no issue with that at all.

  14. Anon 9:13, I agree with everything you wrote. As a woman of Queen Camilla's age, after wearing high heels for many, many years, my feet now have to be pampered. It is very painful to wear heels, or wedges, or any style that puts pressure on the ball of the foot. Finding stylish comfortable shoes is almost impossible. I suspect the younger royals will realize this in due course. I think Queen Camilla looks very fashionable in both ensembles, particularly the turquoise dress. I loved that she wore brooches from QEII's collection.

Indeed, Debra. I'm between Victoria and Maxima's age but I'm aware what might be ahead for me once the Manolo days are done. I've long suspected this is why Camilla favours certain shoes repeatedly while everyone screams at her for wearing the wrong footwear - there comes a point where pain-free foot comfort becomes the top priority, regardless of what anyone thinks, and I agree with that. That's probably why she loves her boots so much - the closer fit around the foot gives her feet the shape and support they need. You don't want to go with something new to do the job when you already have something on your shoe rack that you know will deliver.
Yes, it is nice to see her wear selected pieces of QEII jewellery from time to time, especially when she visits places, and/or hosts individuals, who were special to the late queen. It's a lovely, quiet way to pay tribute.
