What a splendid treat to see Her Majesty again smiling and performing her official duties!! I' m really happy for her and wish her a full and fast recovery.
I find this a terrible outfit, someone made a comment compering the other Nordic queens and indeed QM does not seem to get it right, specially for one that is supposed to be so creative/artistic as she claims with the design of the ballet costumes. Luna
@Anon 01:26 You said " the Czech president is quite handsome". I wonder if @Tulipe33 would agree? Whilst on the subject of men, Prince Frederik is again wearing a suit jacket which seems to be too small for him. Above all, the most important thing is seeing Queen Margrethe up and about again. Best wishes for a full recovery your Majesty.
Dear Siv. Thanks for the info about men’s suit fashion. If ever my hubby decides to buy a suit, which is never going to happen, I’ll get him to get into the Scandinavian style of things and perhaps take on a bit of a look of the handsome Prince Frederik. By the way, I don’t know what “hubby style trousers in the US” are as I don’t live in the USA. Nice to see, dear Siv, that you are still throwing in your two pennies' worth for the blog. Take care.
Glad she has recovered. Someone ought to tell Frederick he needs a suit that does make everyone cringe at how tight it (almost) fits. Pretty cagey. Surprised Mary (who never wears outfits that are a size too small) never impressed it on her husband.
So good to see the queen again!

Glad to see her Majesty back and in good form 🥳 … and all smiles!
DeleteThe Crown Prince is really handsome :-)
Hope you are feeling better Majesty.

Exactly!
DeleteI would not go as far to say terrible but I have always thought she would look lovely in a Chanel suit and pearls! Fitzhugh
DeleteShe doesn't claim to be artistic/creative - she is, and has done the work to prove it. Doesn't mean she herself wants to wear theatrical costume.
DeleteShe IS creative and artistic - and very friendly and kind - and smart - quite the contrary to your comment @Luna! Siv.
DeleteThe Queen is looking like she is recovering very well. Happy for her. The Czech president is a very dignified looking man.

@Deadeggs - I wish you would spend some time abroad. In Scandinavia that's the style. Better than the hubby style trowsers in the US - arghh! Siv.

Queen Margarethe nice as ever, and looking quite recovered. Welcome back, your Majesty!
ReplyDeleteHow marvellous to see the Queen back on deck!
ReplyDeleteShe looks very good, healthy, smiling and engaging.
I wish her continued recovery and good health.
Happy long & healthy life to the Queen! 🌼
DeleteWonder why she changes the walking stick from side to side, rather than keeping it on just one side.
ReplyDeleteMaybe because it should help her back, not the legs. Just a thought.
DeleteAnd when you want shake hands
