As patron of the WWF World Nature Fund, Danish Crown Princess Mary visited a nature project in Geding-Kasted Mose, Tilst, given as a gift to her on the occasion of her 50th birthday. With this project, the WWF is restoring living and breeding habitats that meet the needs of the totally protected tree frog, with support from the Holch Povlsen Foundation. The tree frogs have a size of about 4 cm and thus, it is Denmark's smallest frog.
The project is one of four projects given as a gift to the Crown Princess with support from various Danish foundations, for her 50th birthday celebrated this year. These projects will restore natural areas, establish habitats, and support a number of protected and vulnerable animal species living in Denmark.
C.P. Mary works hard. Always working. The Danish Royal family was lucky when C.P. Frederik met her.
ReplyDeleteAgree, she has the charisma of a perfect royal lady
DeleteYes agree with you Eugenie, she is a charismatic and charming lady.

She is lovely, regardless of what she wears.
ReplyDeleteMême lorsqu’elle est dans la nature; ce qu'elle porte la montre toujours aussi belle !
ReplyDeleteI admire CP Mary's work ethic she quietly gets on with the job and she does marvelously. She is making a difference. She looks fabulous here.
ReplyDeleteAgree 👍
DeleteLately Mary has very lonG fingernails with a horrible colour coat. This make her look so cheap.
ReplyDeleteI think you need your eyes checked. Her nails are not overly long and sheer apricot is hardly an offensive colour. IMO
DeleteMilo, my eyes are fine, thank you. It is just my opinion and nothing can change that. I do not say the colour is offensive,
DeleteThe only cheap thing is your remark, dear Iris. Siv
DeleteMary look marvelous here--working with the children, planting the tree, releasing the tadpoles. What a wonderful lady!

Playing with the frog? She masters every situation. Looking good. css
ReplyDeleteA wonderful day for the children. She is just a wonderful woman.
ReplyDeletePictures on this site must be very photoshopped. I saw pictures in a Danish magazine from the same event, and Mary did not look as good. She looked old in the face and had quite a lot of grey roots.
ReplyDeleteGardening and looking lovely.
