Now that's some coordination. I do prefer Queen Letizia's sleeveless dress, only because I don't personally like the huge sleeves on Ms. Alcocer's (otherwise it's nice). I also love Letizia's floral bag, she looks fabulous as usual.

Both ladies look very nice. Nothing so cooling and fresh looking as white cotton or linen.
ReplyDeleteWhile the low balloon sleeves on the First Lady's dress are not my style to be honest, they do add interest to her dress,. I like the front slit and the back, and the red underside of her Louboutin shoes (I think) provide a pleasing and unexpected splash of colour.

The "less is more" does it every time. Queen Letizias dress is elegant and deceivingly simple with a beautiful lace.

Queen looks simple and sophisticated, i like how she styles her hair, sleek.
ReplyDeleteColombian first lady on the other hand that dress is not suited for state visit; open back and long slit, its like a robe
I agree
DeleteA striking proof that the price tag does not make a dress and the most important in an outfit is the woman who's wearing it.
ReplyDeleteOn first look I decided the dress is very expensive. It is under $100 but looks like 10x more.
Hmmm, I'm not entirely sure if this uber coordination is actually working well. First of all, there's too much white in the overall picture, I literally had to squint, because the screen was so bright. The eye is struggling to find a focal point, something interesting to latch onto. While I don't like the second outfit of Ms Alcocer, picture-wise the composition is much better.
ReplyDeleteNow to the actual looks. Letizia's dress is gorgeous. It's simple, it's crisp and clean and beautifully understated. I like this very much. The First Lady's outfit isn't my personal favourite. I think it'd be more successful if it was an actual dress and not a cut akin to a fancy beach cover-up. The fabric itself is very pretty and I don't mind the sleeves at all, but the slit and elastic waist ruin the elegance a bit. However, we have two stylish ladies here and I'm looking forward to seeing more!

This white lace dress is very elegant, the beige shoes work well, the floral bag is gorgeous, a fabulous splash of color. The Colombian first lady looks nice, her dress is very distinctive.
ReplyDeleteQ. Letizia is a vision in this dress. This style of dressing, sleek, unfussy, simple suits her to a T. Love the lace fabric of the dress. I give her 10/10!!
ReplyDeleteBoth ladies color coordinated, nice. But I prefer Q Letizia's dress over that of the Columbian First lady. css
ReplyDeleteI love both these lady’s dresses. They look cool and crisp. If I had to choose, though, QLeti wins. Her dress is my favorite of the two.
ReplyDeleteLa couleur blanche va bien à toutes les deux mais je la préfère dans la dentelle de Letizia qui a toujours de magnifiques cheveux !
ReplyDeleteI hit the wrong key when I wrote Colombia, sorry. I wish the First lady's dress was lighter, so one could see the order with the black sash better, css
