Crown Princess Mary is making a working visit to Vanuatu and Fiji as well as Australia. Crown Princess Mary arrived in Fiji yesterday evening. The visit to Fiji on 25-27 April will be carried out together with UNFPA Executive Director Natalie Kanem. On April 25, the Crown Princess attended an official welcoming ceremony in Fiji’s capital, Suva. Then, the Crown Princess attended a meeting with Fiji’s President, Ratu Wiliame Maivalili Katonivere.

I have always liked how Crown Princess Mary often pairs white with colors and patterns and the combination looks beautiful on her. I especially like the emerald green pants she is wearing. She also looks very pretty with her hair pulled back from her face with a ponytail. The verdict is still out for me on the island looking print dress. I am sure Australia is looking forward to having the future Queen of Denmark return home to her native country and to me she can do no wrong and is my favorite royal! Fitzhugh
ReplyDeleteThe white jacket with green trousers: lovely, stylish combination.
ReplyDeleteThe dress is more folklore,

Yes, indeed !
DeleteAnd Yes! Another try to imitate, but with designer clothes of course, the dress style of the country she is visiting. I am looking forward to Queen Rania wearing wooden shoes coming to the Netherlands. Oh no, wait, they only do this when visiting third world countries.

Since CP Mary is acquainted with that region and is well informed diplomatically I suppose, she cannot do wrong with the way she dresses to go there. If she went there in lace and silk and with all her jewelry that would be a big mistake.
DeleteLOL, begs the question! MR
DeleteHRH, so lovely as ever and down-to-earth and very very authentic!!!
ReplyDeleteI think CP Mary’s choices for this trip have been excellent. Yes she has worn colourful clothing. Why not? Couldn’t she wear these items equally well in Florida, in the south of France, in Australia etc etc. (V.M.)
ReplyDeleteWhat an unfortunate choice of dress. It looks as if she went to a thrift shoppe to purchase something she thought might fit in.
ReplyDeleteEur790 not a typical thrift shop pricing! Those vibrant colours and that style is appropriate and respectful in the pacific islands. - AnnaLise
DeleteRien de tel que le blanc pour être associé à une couleur vive ; en ce qui concerne la robe, ce n''est vraiment pas un bon choix qui ne convient pas du tout à la princesse Mary !
ReplyDeleteDon't like the printed dress. The print is too large and loud. The asymmetry of the prints on the skirt is very annoying.
ReplyDeleteArrival outfit very nice and fresh.

Mary looks great particularly the jacket with the green pants thumbs up. Like her hair in the pony tail too. Looks like she has trimmed her hair looking much better. Can't wait for her to return home to Australia this Friday. My favourite toyal. Mary
ReplyDeleteMy reaction to the dress is just no! perhaps if it was yellow without the pink but it's awful imo. Not really a fan of the green trousers and white jacket either. I love wide trousers but the jacket doesn't see to match well with them.
ReplyDeleteThe jacket and green pants are beautiful, I especially love the pants. Love her flat shoes, they appear to be two toned. The floral print dress, is appropriate and she wears it well.
ReplyDeleteLove the arrival look--fresh white/cream jacket paired with beautiful green trousers. Her earrings are also very pretty. Personally not a fan of the dress but can see why it is perfect for tropical Fiji. The vibrant colors are reminiscent of the vibrant colors found in nature in the South Pacific and somehow, Mary manages to pull off the dress. One problem--her handbag is a big no with her dress. Not sure what happened there--perhaps it was a gift--as Mary's accessories are so well paired with her outfits.

Like the pant and jacket combination. The dress in MO is not that great, css
