Max Mara Camel Blazer
Victoria Beckham Tweed Short-Sleeve Round-Neck Top and Side-Drape Skirt
The jacket is beautiful but I think it is too long and straight for this kind of dress/skirt. The dress is also very nice with a pink color that is not too childishly pink. I would like to see the dress with another jacket and the blazer with pants.

The skirt and top are a nice colour but I would have paired them with a different (darker) coloured jacket or blazer, if one was even required.
ReplyDeleteThe flap detail on the skirt only works if it isn't too conspicuous; in Sophies case it is too prominent, immediately suggesting extra material folded over.

A rare miss for me fro the Duchess. I wished she hadn't worn the blazer, either that or the skirt didn't have that detail in the front.

She needs a slightly stronger lip color. I love the color of her outfit especially with her blond hair.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely boring
ReplyDeleteShe doesn't look on form. Maybe just a little tired from her new responsibilites as Duchess of Edinburgh.
DeleteFashion aside, she get 10/10 for the work she is doing.
She seems a lovely, friendly, empathetic lady, but fashionwise she needs a new advisor
ReplyDeleteSadly, a rare miss. The jacket is lovely, the Beckham skirt or dress is not, and together it looks rather odd. Sophie is a lovely woman and rarely makes a mistake. Thankfully, the rare occasions are few and far between.
ReplyDeleteshe should teach Maxima how to make hair extensions look natural

Je n'arrive pas à trouver de l'élégance chez Sophie au niveau du haut porté sur une jupe drapée sur un côté, le tout trop fade par rapport au blazer camel !
ReplyDeleteNice blazer the dress is not bad, by itself but together it don't look too good. css
ReplyDeletejacket is great and like the colour and style of the dress if only it didn't have the strange flap. Might be okay on its own but I doubt it.
ReplyDeleteLong jackets are on trend, but trousers might have been better, or she could have worn a short jacket with this pink dress.
ReplyDelete'Duchess of Edinburgh' Sounds good. I like the way she supports the people.
Not a good mix--a rare miss from Sophie. I like blazer--its beautifully cut and the camel color is nice color for her. The soft pink of the Victoria Beckham is also a good color choice for Sophie too. What I am not a fan of is the skirt and that added fabric. I think had the skirt been a plain skirt the whole look would have been greatly improved and the mix would have worked.

In the first photo I thought Sophie had her hair cut short; and thought Wow she looks lovely, which she does any way. I like the suit and the jacket(Tara)
