On April 18, Queen Maxima visited Dutch designers who are exhibiting their work at Milan Design Week. Queen Maxima visited the exhibition ‘Masterly, the Dutch in Milano’ held at the Palazzo dei Giureconsulti, where, for the seventh time, curator Nicole Uniquole has brought together the collections of more than 70 Dutch interior designers and design companies. The Queen attended the official opening of Masterly Dutch Pavilion.
Claes Iversen Couture SS19 Collection
Dress and hairstyle are good, chic.

Terrible dress ( very bad skirtseam) and terrible hairstyle,
ReplyDeleteMabel
Totally agree with you Mabel.
DeleteNow you are exaggerating about the hairstyle. There are curls in her hair and it is not too long.
DeleteHairstyle is ok here, not a fan of the dress particularly about the skirt.
DeleteI prefer the gold belt the model is wearing! Fitzhugh
ReplyDeleteLove this very special ( in colour and design) dress of Claes Iversen. QM has worn it before. She looks so fashionable and at the same time regal. Her hair super. What I like about QM is that she is never boring in her clothing, she dares to wear everything. Sometimes that's a misser and sometimes gorgeous like now
ReplyDeleteI agree completely!
DeleteTotally agree... my Favourite Royal
DeleteWhoever that pink person is looks ridiculous. But I like the half purple half blue dress of the blond lady, especially with that shoes.
ReplyDeleteThis is such a better look for Maxima on this occasion, thinking of the terrible outfit with the coat the other day. I really like the details on the sleeves and the dress suits her very well.

Agree
DeleteNot my cup of tea. It looks good enough on some photos but then on others the material clings and seams pucker.

I like this dress when Maxima wore it some years ago, and I still do.
ReplyDeleteHer loose, wavy hair and shades give the whole a glamourous look.

The top half of this outfit is really stunning, I just don't like the bottom half and the belt. Otherwise, Queen Maxima looks beautiful, especially in photos 1 and 3.

Wow what a difference a day makes! Hair is styled for a change (I think it looks pretty), dress is a good color for her and it’s flowy and feminine. It’s a good example of Claes Iversen design for her to model in Milan. Admittedly, the bottom hem seam needs attention.
ReplyDeleteI agree
DeleteI actually had the same thoughts. She is playful with what she wears. I guess when you have to make daily choices on fashion it is hard. Love it that she is sometimes bold. And yes she fails sometimes and other times it works. To me she looks glamorous
ReplyDeleteI agree with you, we are the spectators,, but she need to take a daily decision, even if she has aids, is her call all the time.
DeleteI personal love her hair, dislike the dress
Luna
There is something undeniably luxurious about this ensemble. Just a bit confused by the sideways folds on the bodice. M hair looks good.
ReplyDeleteIt's called draping.
DeleteIt's shiny enough, but those shiny tights need to go. And I'm not a fan of the brown belt. But the biggest fashion no is the clunky pair of gold shoes on the woman in the pink flowy dress.

Absolutely stunning, I want to see more of Claes Iversen on her
ReplyDeleteGolden goddess among us!! Like "Tony the Tiger" says she looks "GREEEEAAAAT" !!
ReplyDeleteThis is one if Maxima's best looks ever, in my opinion. She looks polished, stylish but also a little bold, just like she is. Hair and make-up really good. Perfect look, I love it!
ReplyDeleteThe dress is nice, but the sleeves are not great, looks like an overload of bracelets, way too much for me css
ReplyDeleteThey aren't bracelets, it is the design of the dress.
DeleteMaxima est superbe dans ce modèle de robe très fluide avec la ceinture marron mais je ne suis pas fan des chaussures dorées ; ses cheveux montrent une petite amélioration !
ReplyDeleteOnce again, the dress isn't my personal taste, but it has great elements and suits Maxima really well. The top has a nice cut, the colour is intriguing and the gold elements are 100% her style. I would've kept the original gold belt - the brown seems rather random - and definitely changed the hem of the skirt. It looks like it was shortened in a rather quick and haphazard way. But overall, she looks good, particularly her hair is having another great moment!

Hair looks great (for once) …
ReplyDeleteWow, Maxima is back!!! Dewy skin with light makeup and gone is the aging brown blush. The Queen looks 35 in these pictures, and the dress is interés and had beautiful details on the sleeves, and she wears it well.
ReplyDeletebeautiful, gold looking dress, iconic for 1920 and 1930 period, beautiful hair arrangement and shoes, very royal
ReplyDeleteLove this look. Okay, so the skirt is a bit weird but it looks stylish and fun. Hair is fantastic (not something you can always say about Queen Maxima)
ReplyDeleteNever been a fan of this dress--odd hemline and worse sleeves. Nice hair and makeup though.
ReplyDeleteStunning dress with an amazing color combo. Love it! - Leona
ReplyDeleteThere is an ancient Greek / Roman vibe to the look - truly fascinating. -Leona
