Vogana Nanda polka-dot dress
Sorry to say but I do not like this dress. The color is blah. Does not look good on the blond model and not on the brunette queen.

I agree!
DeleteLove the dress itself and the fabric looks beautiful but it's spoiled by the bland colour.
DeleteWow, this prize winner is 93, and looking rather splendid and proud. The joy and compassion shown to him by the King and Queen is glorious. I find the fabric of the Queen’s dress very delicate, even though I’m unsure of the neck detail.
ReplyDeleteJ'ai toujours aimé les imprimés à pois ; sur cette robe, cela va bien à la reine même si un fond rouge aurait apporté beaucoup plus de chic !
ReplyDeleteWhat a fresh and beautiful Spring dress. I love the way the light fabric flows. And the pale green color probably looks lovely with Letizia’s green eyes, although can’t see without close up.
ReplyDeleteThe sleeves and cape thing on the shoulders makes the drab dress even worse. Lydia
ReplyDeletewow to the hair, long but well trimmed at the same level to perfection. The dress is a double wow! she hardly puts a foot wrong.
ReplyDeleteI like the delicate fabric of the dress, but the colour is very bland and the sleeves are awful. 🌞Virginia
ReplyDeleteI don’t like this dress. The color, fabric and design do not suit L. I’m trying to visualize a woman on whom this would look good and I can’t think of one.
ReplyDeleteI'm on the fence about the dress, first i thought the color must be lovely with her eyes, but it seems to wash her, maybe is there photos.
ReplyDeleteThen the flow looks springy but then the gaps on the sleeves look distracting to me. So I'm not sure, waiting to read insightful comments
Love her hair
Luna
I'm happy not to be sitting on that fence again.
DeleteFor me, it's a positive yes. A nice touch of spring individuality.
p.s. King Felipe has an excellent tailor.
He should give his address to some of the other European Kings and Princes.
I really love the dress except for the holes in the sleeves. I am allergic to holes in clothing, it mostly makes clothes look tacky.
ReplyDeleteIt's a miss for me.
ReplyDeleteThe light polka dot fabric is the only thing I like, but not this sage colour. A lighter, brighter green might have been better.

A rare miss for me with Letizia. A very blah color (don't thinks it very flattering for Letizia or the blonde model), the neckline/shoulder draping is odd, and I don't like the slashed sleeves.
ReplyDeleteJanet
The lady in lilac outshines Letizia.
ReplyDeletePerfect balance, this dress has very unique features like the sleeves, and the neck and shoulder draping, combined with a subtle color, it makes it original but not overdone. I like the marked waist and the fluidity of the skirt. I am sure that she looked radiant since the color matched her eyes. Good choice of shoes, feminine but not too high. The hair looks healthy and glossy. All in all, I like this outfit for the event.
ReplyDeleteCherry Blossom
I agree " original but not overdone". I like the alternance of soft (which some call pale) colors and the brighter ones she often wears. To me as well a good balance of features.
DeleteBeautiful dress, the neck detail into those beautiful arms. Just lovely. I also like the pinkish/lilac color suit.
ReplyDeleteChel
Chel, I totally agree with you, nothing boring in that dress.
DeleteThis is a beautiful dress, with some very interesting features. Unique and very elegant.
ReplyDeleteThe King looks debonair and every well groomed as he always does. A very elegant man.
The 93 year old, Prize winner, looks amazing.
This delicate fairytale dress can only be worn by Queen Letizia,
ReplyDeleteMabel
Lovable and close to the people, as ever!!!
ReplyDeleteI love this beautiful, very feminine dress. The fabric is so flowy and soft and I love the soft color. The collar treatment and sleeves make it so unique. AND i love the polka dots!!
ReplyDeleteNot a bad looking dress, but do not care for the big opening at the sleeves. Letizia looks good anyway. css
ReplyDeleteI love this style on the Queen, not the colour, she is a winter tone, this an Autumn tone. Too drab, she suits brighter colours.
