On the third day of her working visit to Fiji, Crown Princess Mary of Denmark visited the Blackrock Peacekeeping and Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief Camp in Nadi, where Fiji’s armed forces are trained before they are deployed on UN peacekeeping missions. The centre also assists with efforts in connection with humanitarian crises.
Ralph Lauren Belted Linen Shirt
So well dressed for the occasion!

She certainly is! Lovely, Mary! MR
DeleteShe looks good for this trip. The shirt with front pockets looks like a safari shirt but the khaki skirt dresses it up. This is how a princess works in the weeds. She looks great.
ReplyDeleteIndeed she does.
DeleteThe weeds you mention are also known as mangroves.
They are part of an important ecosystem found in tropical waters
The RL top has a lovely cut and shape and looks good on Mary. It would have looked better paired with trousers though, which could also have been tucked into her galoshes when walking on the wetlands.

I believe Princess Mary observed local custom with her outfit. I have never noticed local women wearing trousers.

Rafraîchissante cette chemise ceinturée en lin que je verrais bien portée sur une jupe légèrement trop courte !
ReplyDeleteIf the skirt would have been nice tailored pants, this would have been a really good outfit. This blouse is too long for this skirt. Besides of the skirt she looks good, even in boots. It looks like an extensive programme on this trip.
ReplyDeleteMary looks lost and alone, please take Frederik with you next time!
ReplyDeleteRepresenting together is much more fun I guess.
The blouse and skirt are looking nice made of linen and very in trend.
I prefer separate but than added with a slim skirt/trousers.

The blouse and skirt look great and very appropriate. She is doing well, a wonderful tour.
ReplyDeleteMary looks fabulous--such great wardrobe choices for this tour! Love her ability to go from a troop review to wearing wellies in wetlands with children. She is such a marvelous ambassador for Denmark! I so appreciate how she uses her platform as Denmark's Crown Princess to shine the light on so many important causes and issues around the world as the spotlight from a royal can help so much.

She looks very tired...very understandable of course as she seems to have been on the go and go and go!
ReplyDeleteAnd the 9 to 10 hours time change between the two countries doesn't help either. Hope she had a few minutes spare to say hello to her family.
