On March 1, the Prince and Princess of Wales attended the annual St. David's Day parade in Windsor. This was the first time that Prince William visited The Welsh Guards since becoming honorary Colonel of The Welsh Guards, fitting with his new title of the Prince of Wales. King Charles III announced the new title for his eldest son and heir in December.

Attendance to The Welsh Guard's annual parade on 1 March is a long-standing royal tradition. St. David is the patron saint of Wales. In Wales, March 1 is a day of celebration of both St David’s life and of the Welsh culture.

    4. I’ll go a bit further and give a 10.5/10
      Perfection .
With the colour combination of the red coat, the Guards, their helmets etc, one couldn't be anywhere else other than in England.

I wish we could see the brooch better...it looks fantastic; I think it is meant to be a leek and a Daffodil bud - both symbols of Wales, and especially on St. Daffyds Day. Meanwhile, we're munching on homemade Welsh cakes with a cup of hot tea over here.. :)

Aha! A close-up of the brooch has now been added. Very nice. Nice to see the Welsh Guards all wearing the same emblem.

@Pauline: Oh yes, by all means please come over. I'll put on a fresh pot and throw a couple of new cakes on the hot, buttered griddle! Properly made Welsh cakes are delicious :)

Certainly she is well admired by the fan club in this blog who boosts her to Perfection …
      Perfection does not exist.
A bit pretentious also to make a call for worldwide … Just check how the Welsh feel as an example. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Controversy_of_the_Prince_of_Wales_title

  8. Quel look magnifique rouge et noir ; tout est parfait en partant de sa longue chevelure qui permet des chignons comme je l'ai précisé tout récemment ; j'adore ses boucles d'oreilles clous que je mettrais bien dans mon coffret à bijoux !

Princess Catherine is tall, statuesque and looking rather regal today in that stunning red coat. Love the updo hair with the stylish hat.

So, she looks like Mary Poppins? Who was the Nanny. And no, she doesn't - coat is the wrong colour and the hat is completely different. But apart from that, yes, like two peas in a pod.

I like that the hem of the coat was altered from the original. That asymmetrical hemline ... sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. For me, this coat looks better without it.

  13. The comment @ 13:53, is not mine, I wish the blog administrator would once and for all block this reader, it's becoming very weird how this person continues to impersonate me. I understand that this just entertainment, and perhaps just a game of a very immature person, but these days the world is full of mentally ill people hiding behind the anonymity of a keyboard.
I find this outfit very regal and, I think the color along with the feminine hat is well chosen, as what otherwise would've been a little " uniform like"

  16. This coat looks superb, with the Princess's height it only adds to the overall perfect look. Love the cut of this coat, it fits beautifully, the color, sublime. Her hat looks fabulous, noting the significance of this event, the hat elevates the overall look, which I love. The brooch, is a great added bonus. Love the bag and boots.
A grand day and wonderful parade.
