The Countess of Wessex paid a visit to The Countryside Education Trust in Hampshire. Since being established in 1975, The Countryside Education Trust has aimed to introduce people to the British countryside, rural life and farming. The trust also helps children and adults learn about, understand and care for the countryside.
The Trust has a residential centre called Home Farm, which has an educational farm and garden, and an inspirational, sustainable Treehouse Study Centre. It also offers a broad and inclusive community programme.

She's now the Duchess of Edinburgh. The title has been conferred to Prince Edward today, on his 59th birthday. Congratulations to the newly minted Edinburgh family! And she does outdoor stuff so well, just like the Princess of Wales.
ReplyDeleteShe absolutely deserves this title. She is a wonderful, hard working asset to the royal family and it was time to elevate her formal status with this exquisite title. Congratulations HRH Sophie, the Duchess of Edinburgh

ReplyDeleteShe looks splendid.
ReplyDeleteHow wonderful Sophie looks here! She is radiant! Many congratulations on becoming the Duchess of Edinburgh. I like her naturally wavy hair—like her daughter, Louise.

She is a real duchess and she is looking great
ReplyDeleteA 'real Duchess'? What is that? And how would you know? Are they born with a stamp saying "Real Duchess"? Last I checked it was just a title. Care to explain?

Enhorabuena, Sophie (y Edward).
ReplyDeleteWhat an adorable and cuddly Dutch rabbit!
ReplyDeleteHer casual wear looks fabulous and appropriate for this visit. Love the jacket and jeans she is wearing.
ReplyDeleteWonderful engagement for the now new Duchess! (I was guessing/hoping to hear DoE news on Edward's birthday:).
ReplyDeleteSophie has long been one of my all time fave royals, and not only is she super stylish, but she also seems personable and down-to-earth, as well. Her discourse about "the menopause" was a very welcome voice in women's health and wellness.
Her public persona strikes a balance between being outspoken and discreet, and those qualities serve her well.
Happy news and happy days for fans of the newest DoE duo!

The new Duchess of Edinburgh looks fabulous here--and she is radiant! So happy to see her out and about. Her newest hairstyle is so flattering--seems like it looks great regardless of weather conditions.

Nice jacket. Only those shiny boots don't fit the ensemble. -Siri
