Queen Mathilde visited the joint exhibition of the European Commission (EC) and UNICEF at the conference center "The EGG Brussels" in Anderlecht. The exhibition is held in connection with the European Humanitarian Forum and the Conference on Education in Crisis Situations, organized by the European Commission (EC).
During the visit, the Queen spoke about different aspects of education in crisis situations with the European Commissioner for Crisis Management, Janez Lenarcic, the Executive Director of UNICEF, Catherine Russell, and the Special Representative of the UN Secretary-General for Children, Virginia Gamba.
The dress and
ReplyDeleteThe dress and accessories are fine; this is the hair styling I don't like for her. Qn Mathilde rather suddenly looks like having her age. She is nevertheless lovely.
ReplyDeleteHelmet hair. Again, a dress not suitable for her pear-shaped figure. The colour is nice, though. The earrings matching perfectly. Nice accessories. Amy
ReplyDeleteMaybe, but better a helmet of hear on your head than hair that looks greasy (which is probably not the case) and not kempt and hangs around your head as if you just stepped out of bed.
DeleteI think on the contrary suits her quite well in all respects.
Delete@Anon 18:28 Now just who could you be talking about?
DeleteGive me a clue. Could it be someone who has a name beginning with an "M"
What a beautiful colour dress for queen Mathilde !!
ReplyDeleteQueen Mathilde looks tired to me. In this moment she is probably on the plane which brings her and King Philippe to South Africa where they are expected for a state visit from to-morrow on.
ReplyDeleteThere is very little jet lag for the trip from Europe to South Africa (about one hour)
DeleteSo that should help if she is a bit run down from her work and travels.
Jolie couleur de robe qui se retrouve à merveille dans celle de ses boucles d'oreilles ; ses cheveux mériteraient un petit rafraîchissement !
ReplyDeleteLovely dress and wonderful accessories--and the color is beautiful on Mathilde. I really wish she would re-think her hair style. I liked it better when it was more natural and a bit longer.

Yes exactly my view.
DeleteLovely look for Q Mathilde. css
ReplyDeleteThis is a very pretty dress, the color is sublime. I love the color of her shoes and clutch.
ReplyDeleteNow that we're into spring, maybe it needs just a "pop" of colour somewhere to bring it into the gayness of the season.
DeleteThe color and neckline of the dress are nice, as well as the earrings. However, the Queen looks tired, maybe due to her recent travels. Not fond of her new hairstyle, though still nice, I thought other styles she's worn have been better. Edwina
ReplyDeleteBeautiful color on QM. Very stylish outfit. Maybe somewhat thight. Nice earrings.
ReplyDeleteAgree !!
DeleteLovely colour of dress, with perfect accessories--I feel calm after seeing the mix match of colours chosen by Queen Maxima. I think Queen Mathilde's hair style is both smart and flattering.

Sweet colour for sweet lady,

Many remarks on Queen Mathilde's hair. There is almost wind every day now in Belgium. It is difficult if you wish to go out and you do not wish to use a lot of hairspray your hair looks immediately unkempt. To me Queen Mathilde's hair looks better when it is styled towards the inside. But that is personal taste. Sometimes she has a really nice updo but with halflong hair she must use a false hairpiece, which is not always practical. I think for the upcoming state visit to South Africa, she will have a/her hairdresser with her. I wonder in which outfits we will see her on this trip ?
