On the occasion of International Women’s Day, Monaco's Minister of State Pierre Dartout held a lunch at his residence, chaired by Princess Charlene with the theme ‘women and sport’. Minister Pierre Dartout said that the defence of women’s rights in the Principality has been at the heart of the priorities of the Prince’s Government for many years.
At the end of the day, the collective artistic work named Mr One Teas, produced with 100 children from the Principality, was officially presented to the public. Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene unveiled the work. The Prince and Princess had contributed personally to the work, as did their children Prince Jacques and Princess Gabriella.
The ceremony took place at the Espace Saint Antoine in the presence of children who took part in the creation of the work. Based on the theme "Women and sport seen through the prism of the new generation", the work represents the face of Alice Millat, a great promoter of women's sport, who had competed in the first women's olympics organized in Monaco.
Charlene, please fight for yourself;)

@MiMi Please elaborate!
Deleteok, I am not sure I fully understand what you mean.
DeleteNow, what could you possibly mean by that?
DeleteHer sadness and fashion choices as always.
DeleteMiMi
This stereotype has been going on since her wedding, i see it all over social media. She is not going anyway.
DeleteFar too bleak for her, and so severe,
ReplyDeleteMabel
Sorry she looks very ´man-ly’ in this suit and short hair. Not very ´feminine’ for a national woman’s day … A pity as she is a pretty woman. Good though to see her !
ReplyDeleteAnna
Women do not have to look feminine. And it is her choice to wear her hair short and to wear whatever she wants. Appearances are only superficial and are secondary. Intelligence is more important. Ela
Delete@Ela - yes i agree with you, of course apparence is secondary, inner beauty counts.
DeleteMy comment did not mean to be any offence to Pss Charlene, not a must for her to be feminine, but this look is not too feminine. Next time perhaps she will impress us with one of her stunning gown .. 😉
Anna
Beautiful suit for Charlene. I wish I had the same, but can only dream about it.
ReplyDeleteA chic tailored look for Princess Charlene. I like it.
ReplyDeleteAgreed, it's a chic tailored look which I read somwhere recently is in fashion for 2023.
DeleteI like this suit on Charlene. Professional work attire.A pair of matching shoes would have been perfect.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fabulous way to mark IWD!
I like her look. She look serene and elegant. She definitely do not look unhappy. I think she rather looked contained
ReplyDeleteGood news. The Princess seems to be regaining her force.
DeleteThis pale blue pantsuit looks lovely. it fits well. Pss Charlene looks very stylish and elegant.
ReplyDeletePrincess Charlene also makes a very good impression with this pant suit. A great choice, the outfit is understatedly elegant and perfect for the Women's Day occasion.
ReplyDeletePerfectly dressed as a strong woman. We are not little girls!
ReplyDeleteHear hear!
DeleteWe are not little girls. Yes. Right... but in your opinion only little girls wears skirts or dresses? Or maybe every woman should wear suit and short hair??
DeleteMiMi
@mimi: feel free to wear what you like. Reading this blog helps developing your personal style... e.
Delete"I'm very definitely a woman and I enjoy it."
DeleteMarylin Monroe quote
I think is perfect narration.
MiMi
Felicitations, feeling like marylin…lol
DeleteWe have the same figure and the same style;)
DeleteMiMi
Hopefully not the same fate ... by the way marilyn monroe looked gorgeous in jeans and tomboy style, "river of no return". e.
DeletePss Charlene looks spot on with both outfits and so do the children. css
ReplyDeleteThis is a wonderful suit. Cut and colour are gorgeous and I think they work for Charlene. However, just like with her dresses lately, I feel like there needs to be more contrast. Her pale skin and the light hair make her head almost disappear. Maybe some lipstick or jewellery would help with that? But either way, I'd happily have this ensemble in my own wardrobe :)
ReplyDelete-Nika-
Such an unfortunate choice for Charlene’s body. The cut makes her look big and square. Colour is waging her out. Possibly one of her worse sartorial choices, I can only think of one or two I equally disliked.
ReplyDeleteCH
That's why it is called "powersuit". e.
DeleteYou are absolutely right. This pantsuit makes her look very tall and masculine. It's not flattering and the colour isn't good either, too pale.
