Mathilde looks lovely...beautiful hairstyle and I love the lacy top of her dress.
ReplyDeleteI love the bodice and sleeves of this dress, the lace top looks very elegant.
ReplyDeleteLove her hairstyle and lace dress. So elegant!

Mathilde's dress, hair and shoes have more of a cocktail party vibe to them (slightly off-set by her hat, for daytime). Otherwise she wears it all well. Perhaps there were other formal events they were attending on that day, that we don't know about.

Love the hairstyle…she should cut her hair just like that!
ReplyDeleteI was.thinking the same.
DeleteGood idea!
Deleteanna e.
If she cut her hair short, she would lose the versatility of styling it in different ways
DeleteGood point, anniem!
DeleteSo beautiful and elegant!!! Mathilde looks fabulous here.

I agree
DeleteI do not like a shape skirts or dresseson Mathilde, especially not in this lenght. Straight or pencil skirts are the best for her.

DeleteOnce again Queen Mathilde choose one of her old dresses to wear on this trip to SA. She wore the dress in 2017 when meeting with King (then Prince) Charles and Prince William and Princess Catherine at Tyne cot cemetry near Ypres to remember the battle of Passendale. To me QM looks very beautiful in this dress. Her hat by Fabienne Delvigne is made of banana fibres.
ReplyDeleteLike the idea of reusing. e.
DeleteVero, e non dovrebbe segnare troppo il punto vita.
ReplyDeletePerò bella la parte con il pizzo, nell'insieme un un'outfit elegante.

Elegant dress, but this uni colour for dress and accessories is a bit much.
ReplyDeleteD'après ce que je peux voir de cette robe, la dentelle du haut jusqu'à la taille lui va à ravir ; je pense que la jupe plus droite l'aurait mieux avantagée ; dans une couleur plus vive, elle aurait été magnifique !
ReplyDeleteWhile it's a lovely and elegant outfit, again I think that these very pale colours are not the most flattering for the Queen
ReplyDeleteAgree, it makes her face pale
DeleteAnother wrinkled Natan confection. The color is bland.
ReplyDeleteVery lovely dress, do like the lace. Makeup and hair great too. css
ReplyDeleteLovely feminine outfit, softening her facial features and bringing her eyes out. Quite an elegant Lady, the Belgian Queen, with a handsome King at her side.
ReplyDeleteThe Queens dress is a beautiful color, love the lace part at the top. I am not so sure about the small hat on the back of her head, though maybe this was needed for a more formal occasion at some point in the day. Edwina
ReplyDeleteThank you for showing these pictures from the evening of the 25th of March.
ReplyDeleteThe dress Queen Mathilde is wearing is fully made and embroided by hand. The design is from the Belgian designer Bernard De Poorter. Her silk shoes are by Armani. This dress is also one she has several years.
