On March 23, 2023, King Abdullah and Queen Rania Al Abdullah of Jordan hosted an iftar for family members at Al Husseiniya Palace in Amman. Queen Rania published a series of photos her Instagram account, from family Iftar on the first day of the month of Ramadan. She wrote: "Grateful to be sharing Iftar on the first day of the holy month with people we love"
i like it when she wears traditional Jordanian like outfits, she looks amazing. But she needs to go easy with the face cosmetics before she becomes unrecognisable.
ReplyDeleteAgree, love her traditional dresses. And, love those heels!

Lovely to see the kings sister. e.
ReplyDeleteThis nice dress suits here quite well, luckily for her. I don't see anything more than her usual make up style.
ReplyDeleteQueen Rania look more and more like a Barbie doll in her face imo
ReplyDeleteRamadan for feeding the poor not the rich and famous....she should be giving iftar to jordanian beggers and homeless
DeleteThis dress would have been a concern on the hanger but she makes it shine! Very interesting details and love the blue accents.

ReplyDeleteReally, I think its the King who looks the best here, he looks quite handsome in his all dark outfit. But everyone looks good (those boots are fantastic).

Why wearing expensive clothes if you are a pour country.
ReplyDeleteBecause they aren't a poor country - they're rich people who can afford the clothes they're wearing.
DeleteThe King looks so well groomed and handsome, love what he is wearing. The Queen looks beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI agree, Queen Rania is becoming a lifeless doll; smothered in makeup, a new garment every time we see her. Where is her message? A pity, really.

she does not have a msg she is busy selling landmarks and give samsung agencies to family..... to buy dresses
DeleteNice pictures. I don't know what the holiday is about, as I'm Christian, but I'm sure that all had a great time and that the Queen and King were the epitome of grace.
ReplyDeleteIt's not a holiday but a religious ritual.
DeleteDuring the month of Ramadhan, Muslims who practice Islam fast from sunrise to sunset. This means that they do not eat or drink anything from the moment the sunrises in the morning, until it sets in the evening for 29 to 30 days (there are exceptions for the very young, the elderly and those who are sick).
However as soon as the sun sets in the evening, they are allowed to eat and drink with joy, music, dancing etc. and this 'feasting' or 'breaking of the daily fast' is known as "Iftar". On the first evening it is a special celebration and this is what the King and Queen are celebrating with family members and close friends.
